Happy Friday, Everyone! Today, we're in the pink. Pink ink, that is 😃Steph returns with more ink picks and one of these pinks is FABULOUS! There's also a couple I'm not even sure qualify as pink, but Steph assures me that there's a wide range of pink. What are your thoughts? Did one of Steph's picks get your attention? Is there a pink ink that should have been included? Let me know in the comments and I'll be sure to pass the information along. THANK YOU so much for watching and have a wonderful weekend! 😁 #thankyouthankyou

Thank you for the pink ink selection. The Electric Pink is my favorite from this list, and I could really see myself using it regularly. My overall favorite in the extended pink ink family is Iroshizuku Yama-budo (not really pink to be honest, but very suitable for regular use). By the way, Kosumosu is the Japanese name for the flower called "cosmos", and the pronunciation is similar in Japanese to that of the English word. So while the ink color is not related to cherry blossoms at all, it is still inspired by a flower.

The color is related to 🌸 but the color name isn’t.

J. Herbin Rose Cyclamen has my vote. In my TWSBI Eco pen currently. Pink rocks!

Love, love, love this video! I recently got into the Herbin inks, so I’ll need to get the one you referenced here today, as I’m a pink ink girl. One of my absolute favorites did not make the list: Taccia’s Momo. It mesmerizes me and I have to keep it inked in at least 1 pen at all times. It just puts me in my happy place. And of course I’m very interested in the Fabulous Las Vegas! Thanks for another great video! 💗💗💗

Thank you Eric and Steph (and Justin) for the video and all the "pink" comparisons. I like the pilot pink as a shading color, but like the Graph von Faber-Castell bottle.

I have long loved Rose Cyclamen, but I HAVE to get Fabulous! Great review, Steph. You two are so much fun! Orange is not my favorite, but looking forward to changing my mind.

Those are beautiful bold pinks - that Colorverse 😱wow! I’m more a soft shading pink lover (Herbin Bouquet d’Antan being a fave) but one of these will broaden my horizons. Thanks for providing great samples.

Excellent selection of “pinks”. Thanks Steph. Like Eric, not a great fan but it’s you’ve made the colour so likeable. For me the closest pink I have is the studio 173 ……. I think I can hear Steph in the background going it’s not a pink …..

Love Rose Cyclamen it's a really unique color and agree with Steph on all the attributes of this ink. I also think that Rose Cyclamen is one of those under rated inks. My second favorite is Iroshizuku kosumoso.

I adore Kosumosu but now I'm intrigued by that Colorverse! Akkerman Pulchri Pink is also a great one, dark and readable, one of my other faves.

Great job Steph. I love the Electric pink but certainly like the magentas. I love reading what you have been writing on the paper. Where is it from?

Seeing the shots at the end with all the inks together, Rose Cyclamen looks so purple compared to the others. I dislike bright and hot pinks, but will occasionally consider a dusty rose pink. There are several out there, but most are unsaturated and not all that legible. You may have to revisit pink inks to get at the dusty rose options!

Thanks for mentioning dry time: tend to write from below so it’s not too much of an issue for me despite being a leftie; you have a happy knack of picking inks that I haven’t tried yet: I’ve got pretty much every Iroshizuku except kosumosu and likewise with rose cyclamen from Herbin; love Colorverse inks but haven’t tried any inks with shimmer: bit concerned they might block the feeds of my mostly EF nibs, also not the most diligent when it comes to cleaning my pens - thanks for the heads up about this; looking forward to orange inks next time: I like this format:)

Would love to see some antique yellows. I found a Robert Oster African Gold that I liked but it wasn’t really what I was looking for to make me say 😲😲😲😲

Hey Eric, brown is actually a shade of red like orange is. Red being the primary color in the spectrum.

I got some Electric Pink cartridges a few weeks ago and have used it in a Faber-Castell Ambition. Definitely want a bottle now. I have become a big fan of GvF-C inks, but have not yet sprung for a GvF-C pen, but Steph's comments about how the ink worked so well in the pen, .... Let's just say my wallet is not going to be happy.... But I'm sure I will be. 🙂

Great inks. I generally dislike pinks, magentas and violet, with the notable exception having been the large hot pink online cartridges. I've been looking for a bottled alternative to that for ages, but am a little hesitant, because neither the Faber-Castell pink (not the one from the video, but from their cheaper line) nor the Online scented pink ink were close and my diamine inks aren't an exact match either. The colour was a bold, warm hot pink that could easily be mistaken for a very pink red. Personally it reminded me of the colour the telecom uses for their magenta (or us that a german thing?)

Hey Eric and Lisa, thank you for your video. I am new to fountain pen but i am learning that i prefer fountain pen ink that are waterproof and able for me to use for drawing. Hey Lisa, is there any waterproof pink ink that is on the market?

Graf v. Faber Castell Electric Pink has some (low) water resistance. Rohrer & Klinger's Sketch Ink Vroni is full on water resistant but as a particle-based ink I would be choosy which pen to put this in. Sorry: for drawing, only the R&K will do.

You're incorrect that orange is a shade of brown. In fact, brown is a variety of orange: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZmXkoqQh9mHrbc
