What I really want on modern keyboards are endless encoders with leds that show the actual value of the parameter. Who wants a printed matrix beneath some old style potis? It's just to cut corners and Korg and Yamaha do the same shit. Otherwise a very nice beginners workstation that you can use live.

If you are making a video to show an item then lighting and camera position are paramount. I got fed up with the back of the guys shirt.

Anthony Box In normal circumstances we film in our dedicated video area which has plenty of space and light. With this one we had to hide away and film it out of sight as it was not announced yet. I agree fully with what you said. Check out the RD800 video we just did. hopefully much better for you.

I think I'll stick with my Fantom X7. May go for the G. Just not feeling the FA-06 at the moment. Analog is where it's at folks. Looking forward to AIRA.

No complaint about the demo, but I also think there should have been more focus on the keyboard display, perhaps a camera just for the display would have been nice.

Jules Barry You are 100% right! We had to film this out of sight and were very tight on space, we have just filmed a video for the RD800 where we had time and space and a camera on the screen. Hope you enjoy it.

This Keyboard looks great and I am seeking a Workstation purchase. I saw the video but I have Questions 1) If I used stored samples on my SD card on a song session, will the samples I used disappeared if I remove it from the key board or are the samples recorded and saved on the track without need for the sd card data? 2) Whats the max amount of samples that I can load on this unit? How much data can it hold? 3) Can I create synths on this unit by using my own sample library? Can I save my created synths and pull them up when I want? 4) Could I pitch an wav file from my SD card across the kets individually? For instance: If I had a one shot harp, could it pitch across the keys? And If so, Could I save that Sample as well as my settings then rename it and pull it up later without the need of the original sample on my sd card? Any help Would be great before I make my Pre Order purchase. If you know of another keyboard that can do what Ive asked above, what keyboard would that be?

Guys, if you were having to "hide" away whilst doing the vid because the FA was not released yet then it is all sort of pointless? You can't show the vid "until" release so why not wait and do it properly? Andertons vids are normally of superb quality so keep the standards up. As for the Roland FA 06 itself it's certainly not a bad workstation for the money but I think I would probably go for a KORG Krome instead. To my ears the sound quality of the Korg is far superior to the Roland. Oh and couldn't they come up with a better name? There was already the Roland FA76. Jeez is it that hard to think of something more unique?

We had the chance to film the only sample Roland UK had of this keyboard prior to launch and way before it was in stock in the store. Therefore it was not pointless to show the product. We are aware that the video had some issues due to space and time but if we have the chance to show you exclusives in advance then we will take it.

The polifony is relative.. if yoy play fast.. some notes doesnt sound at all. The arpeggiators are old and limited... And the mayority of the presets are crap. the stand alone playing is not posible because the pads cant be asigned properly and dont respond. Shame on you roland..
