@MichaelHattemАй бұрын
I've had my VCR for a year and it's been fantastic. The best way to think of it is: it's like a Princeton but you can hit the sweet spot (around 4-5) at home. I run mine with a Weber MiniMass attenuator, which allows me to crank it to 10 at a home volume and it sounds glorious (because at 5 watts you don't need to push the attenuator so hard it kills the tone). With the amp at 10 and my guitar volume dimed, my RW Tele will be on the edge of breakup and my LP with P90s gets that classic late 60s Stones-ish moderate overdrive. Because of the 10" speaker instead of an 8", it's less a Champ than it is a smaller Princeton, with all the tones you'd expect from it.
