Fair play to this guy for being so open, honest and vulnerable. Good luck to him. Great interview, and he can play.

I’ve been watching this Chanel religiously and through this Chanel alone it’s helped me get out of a bad place and back into guitar which I hadn’t played in years. I’ve never commented on KZbin or even made an account before until i watched this video! Moving words and I hope you stay on that path your on 💪

This deserves a lot more views than it has. Probably the best Anderton's content ever. Fantastic musicianship and what a honest, no bullshit, bloke. This will become an interview that people speak about in years to come. Great song at the start as well. Check out Dom's music he truly is great.

Great interview with a very humble fella. I had never heard of Dom until I seen him supporting Eric Gales and he held his own pretty damn well considering who he was up against. Definitely recommend going to see him if you get the chance.

I've seen Dom live half a dozen times in and around my native Belfast. Whether it is a solo acoustic gig or Dom and his band the audience are in for a memorable treat....he is an exceptional musician and a hell of nice guy. Make an effort to catch him on tour.

What a lovely chap Dom is open and honest about is past and just like Rory he just loves doing what he does such a pleasure to listen to him and how he keeps it simple just like Rory did rocked up with his guitar plugged in and away he went.

I broke my femur in 5 places. The pain was never ending, excruciating and impossible to ignore. Because I was immobile, I decided to figure out the electric guitar. What I learned was amazing. While I played, the pain subsided and the longer I played, the longer I could go without pain. My guitar ended up saving my life.

Hi Dom! Great melody, great voice. Hey Lee thanks for introducing many of us to some new music. I'm often sorry I wasn't born and raised in Europe. Such a wide variety of musical tastes there. Wth is that above the Tumnus- a tin of sardines? What capt. said about pickup changes is so right- it doesn't make the huge difference ppl think it's going to make. And this idea that ceramic doesn't sound as good as alnico is b.s.- I have a Strat with Alnico Vs in it- bought an Ibanez with ceramics in it, the Ibanez sounds better. And I wasn't expecting that at all- I thought I would just use it for heavier stuff- turns out it sounds better playing clean than the Classic Vibe Strat does.

Guys!!! Remember the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn. He got clean and sober and was playing and singing better than ever before. Let us not forget Nirvana and the boring drug induced repetitive music and lyrics. Rest in peace Kurt. Some will curse me for my comment on Nirvana but for me I think their songs mostly suck. But that's me. Many love their music. If I hear it come on the radio I just exercise my freedom of choice and change the station. Another real tragedy was Chester Bennington. Great voice! great music. So sad that he didn't escape the trap of his past. RIP Chester. Dom your story is of a great success. Never give up. There are very many people who find that something in a song that touches their soul and helps them hold on. To find a way forward.

Great interview. Not a fan of the highly processed acoustic sound like that , which kind of ruins the sound of a nice guitar to me. Too much reverb and chorus(?) going on. Very Luka Bloom. Maybe sounds better in room I guess as Lee was impressed.
