The way the tele pup takes gain is something special. I wish he'd played the middle position with a gain pedal, but it sounds promising. And there's a lot of sounds onboard with the taps for series/parallel on the volume and phase on the tone knob. Very cool guitar!

As much as I love my epiphones you've got to give fender/squier credit for continued innovation and design, although they're based on the classic models they're original enough to stand on their own merits and this is something that gibson and epiphone can't do with any success. It's like the rule for stereo shopping. Spend 75% of the money on the speakers. Sure there will be marginally better hardware, and perhaps better QC, but the build quality on Squier CVs, G&L tributes, and Epiphone are off the charts.
