From the beginning of electric guitar history we have had the telecaster. Over 70 years the tele style electric guitar is the most popular it’s ever been. Ofcourse there are changes to the cosmetics which make a big difference but the tele shape is still incredibly popular with every guitar brand in the world. Don’t get my wrong, I love the telecaster and I have 2 of them. It just goes to show fender got it right from the start.

Yeah Fender indeed got it right from the start...with the strat! Everything else is just mediocre compared to the strat. Too bad he doesn't make strats. So I have to pass.

Cool that you have the Ratio tuners on (some of?) them as well. I haven't been able to get any set yet (I mean, they're quite an investment), but they seem convenient. - I suppose you also kept putting on the TUSQ nuts, right? - That part is even more valuable, if you ask me.

My habanero orange ML3 is one of the best guitars I ever played and I'm still in disbelief that it only cost me $900. I find myself picking it up over my $2500.00 Strandberg fairly often

Honestly, the finish options and the neck profiles are what sells me on chapman. Nevermind the fact I've been looking to Rob for my tone advice for like a decade now, his guitar design insight is really the underrated alt/metal company doing business over the last decade. Hoping for a baritone (or, God forbid, bass vi) version of the new body style in my future soon. *Edit Deuh* I love the pickups on the S & T models, but I honestly want a chappy offset, with an "extended scale" (seven string plus) p90 in the neck and an invader in the bridge. Plz make me a filthy naughties model.

I do wish that they'd offer either a choice of a reverse or non reverse headstock on most models. That choice would surely mean they'd sell more as there are quite a few quitarists that aren't keen on the standard Chapman reverse headstock.

@@runwin3 we have a couple of music store chains here in Bangalore that could be approached - Reynold’s & Soundglitz. Rooster guitars is an independent store that can be approached as well. I would definitely buy a Lawmaker, chapman have really given the T-style some love.

Congrats on new line and distributor! @ Danish Pete, if you get some you time do yourself a favor and check A.Lowe Guitars stand. Try them. Some models might look like Tele but there is nothing else like that. Perfect necks. Great woods. Some of them (SH) models are thin line but have no F hole and resonate like big box guitars. I can't explain those guitars and their quality. It is a German boutique builder. Great dude as well. Those guitars are super light, very comfortable and highest quality there is. I am happy to own one. They have tons of sustain and every tone is there and nothing gets damped. Just Awesome. I do not work for them and have no monetary interest. He is one man job anyways. Something special. I thought my 594 Wood Library and my Murphy Lab are special and they are but this is something completely different and on different plane. Those guitars spoiled me for other guitar brands :)

I am looking to buy a Tele I like the the look of Pete's signature one but would like to hear it vs a fender player or player plus played on more clean sounds to see if it can get that Tele sound and how close it can come to a maple fretboard sound. Maybe you could oblige not a fan of to much drive in demos as it is difficult to hear the true sound of guitar you can always get a pretty good dirty sound from most guitars but not cleaner sounds from every guitar that is their caricature.

Why tf does every youtuber guitar company makes sick looking guitars but 95% of them only has a 12 fret marker.... would have bought a chapman or solar in an instant if they had normal or no fret markers at all

Genuinely, how often do you look at fret face markers when playing? I did for the first couple of months when learning. Without even consciously doing it, I switched to side markers (and saved my back a load of hunching).

Inlays are for me important as well, When learning complex solo's I actually look at the fretboard. When playing Spanish guitar, or the way you concentrate on the fretboard, they've been there for decades for a reason.

It still kinda looks "proto" to be honest... It's like it's slightly too large or chonk and needs a bit of sanding down, probably even rounding even though I like the angular look. It just seems like it doesn't know what it wants to be, trying to be both round and angular. - I also don't really like the "droop" where the controls are, like there's still too much wood left there. Not that it needs to be "symmetrical" with the other side, but a little less there would be nicer I think. - I do like what it's going for, but it still needs "polish". Maybe it will change a bit with iterations like some of the other guitars have.
