Wow! Can we just take a minute to appreciate how far the Captain’s lead has come. Maybe it’s the Mayer influence but just wow man. That solo just after the half hour mark is by far and away the best lead I’ve heard from the Cap and some of the best ever on the channel. Kudos to Pete for capturing the chordal vibe of the lead guitar and making the whole thing soar. Just sublime!

Lee lays down the most epic playing the channel has even seen, then says "was that good? I dunno." Lee Anderton is MY guitar hero. He has gone from adequate to brilliant, and I hope to do the same. 🙂

@@baltipszlr3398 no doubt and I’m fairly sure I’ve said something similar in the comments of a vid a couple of years ago, but I’ve been watching Andertons vid for what must be 10 years or so now and I’ve seen Lee go from watching other guitarists in awe, to mastering a few licks, to becoming a competent player through to today which absolutely blew me away. Just watch Pete’s face he is seriously impressed man.

Lee's solo reminded me of "Great White" sort of, which used to remind me of "The Scorpions"- which is a huge compliment to all involved, well done Lee. That's what ppl mean when they say a pedal inspired them- Lee just gave everyone a perfect example of it. I love it when that happens- granted, usually it's just something I play a few times and it sounds cool, but you store the concept in your back pocket, and you can refer back to it when playing other things. If I were Lee I would find out what chords Pete was using there because it was the combination of the two that worked so well. Pete backward engineered those licks in seconds and spat out a perfect chord progression for what Lee was doing- that's just as impressive- if not more so, to me.
