Those Bugera's are a very nice amp for the money. And they're easily upgradable. I have the V22 Infinium and it's all I need for a small venue and band practice. I even record with it. I dropped in a Celestion 12 inch speaker, put in premium tubes and replaced several of the pots and jacks with Switchcraft and CTS brand name parts. The ones that come with it are functional but very low end. That's how they're able to sell them so cheap. There's also some mods that are going around for the tone controls. Replacing certain capacitors and resistors with different values. I don't think I will go that far, I am happy with what I have done to it already.

The BBE Sonic Maximizer and the Unna pedal do make things sound better - but soon better just becomes normal because you never want to turn it off. 4:28 - Pete is such a good salesman. He just says what you want to hear in guitarist-words and makes a sale. - I'm not even joking: About one guitar he said "It's so singy!", which was in some video not even about that guitar, and it was exactly the words I needed to hear for a guitar I was looking for, and I purchased it. - Of course, I listened to it as well, he was simply accurate about what it sounded like. But those few seconds really drew my attention cause, again, I was looking for that and indeed the guitar I got is like that. It's very resonant and "sings" notes, so it was one of those incidental meant-to-be series of events that happen in life. - It ended up being one of my favorite guitars as well, as it still feels as good if not better 5 years on. And to think the guitar was based on an already-customized guitar that Lee had frankensteined together. You can guess which one...
