So exciting to see Tim on here, please bring him back for more videos and live perhaps. Two of my favorite personalities in the same space time continuum

7:16 Jack refers to "blips and blops". Does anyone know what he's referring to, and, if there was a noise issue, has it since been cleared up by a firmware update? I'm very interested in buying a Typhon, but need to know what he's referring to. If anyone knows, I'd be grateful to know. Thanks!
@DeepDoseMusic Жыл бұрын
The noise issue is common to pretty much all usb bus powered devices. That being said, the solution is simple. This synth will run off a small power bank for a very long time. I mounted a slim 5000mah powerbank to the bottom and it lasts 10-15 hours. Also the headphone jack is quieter than the main outs, so I use that mostly. They have also added audio through usb with the latest update, which means it's recognized as an audio device in your daw and you can stream audio from it for recording that is purely digital and zero noise. So don't let the noise issue stop you, this synth is incredible for the price, and just in general

I’m wanting to clock Typhon from an external sequencer (Korg Gadget). When I set master clock to external, it disables the step modulation. How do I work around this? The modulation is brilliant for sound design but by using an external sequencer, it’s going to waste. Unless, I hope, I’ve not understood something. Can you advise? Thanks!
