The envelope timing knob is brilliant. I don't see that feature nearly enough. I know the ableton live synth Operator has that feature but I'm struggling to think of other synths that have that.

I just got a Typhon today... but there is a terribly loud hum, even with the volume turned off. It’s so bad that the synth is unusable, the hum cuts through every patch. Do you have any suggestions that might fix it? I send Dreadbox a message but am trying to hit every angle... thanks.

Could be a defective unit, but could also be a bad power supply (some phone chargers really suck), could also be a ground loop noise? But that shouldn't be very loud, in my experience that should just be an annoying hum in the background that you can typically ignore while playing.

It will soon be February 2021 and the Typhon still does not support MIDI over USB. The feature was promised from the beginning, lastly it was supposed to be implemented by the end of 2020 - meanwhile there are no more hints about it on Dreadbox's site. They simply don't respond to corresponding inquiries anymore.
