Andi Peters leaves Live and Kicking

Andi Peters left L&K in April 1996 to join LWT. Here is his turn in the "hot seat", followed by a song-and-dance farewell to Mr Showbiz and his infamous (and oft-repeated) farewell.
Look out for Andi correctly predicting he'd return to the BBC one day (which he did in 2003 to helm TOTP)...also brief appearances by his successor Zoe Ball and Ant and Dec, who would eventually kill off L&K!

It really was. Growing up during the 90s was fantastic. You dont appreciate it at the time. TV these days lacks imagination.

Loved andi Peters- live and kicking was a great show. Tbh there are so many shows of a high quality standard to mention in the 90s. There are far too many channels these days and not enough programmes to fill them, so the quality has diminished.
