Live and Kicking visits BBC1 transmission

Jamie Theakston and Mr Blobby visit BBC1 transmission/presentation/continuity/whatever you want to call it and harasses announcer Zeb Soanes. Plus we get to see what the broom cupboard would have looked like if CBBC hadn't moved (a notice board and some shelves then - although BBC1 TX had also moved by this point so it isn't the same room).

In fact, it's worth pointing out that the digital TX suites at this time were based in the old control rooms for Studios A & B- Studio A of course being the old CBBC studio prior to moving to Studio 9 in 1997.

It's even more confusing though- as at the time both BBC1 and 2 had 2 separate continuity suites- one for analogue, and one for digital. Basically, the analogue & digital versions were effectively run as two separate channels. it wasn't until the end of 2001 when they merged into one. I'm pretty sure it's the analogue TX suite we see on this clip.
