𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: BEFORE you register, please make sure that your TIN is registered with your Revenue District Office (RDO). If not, you have to 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗙𝗘𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧. Your RDO should be registered in your place of business, and in most cases, it's the residential address for freelancers.
HOW DO I KNOW WHERE MY TIN IS REGISTERED?
You can visit your RDO and request for TIN Verification.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT FOR THE ISSUANCE OF AN OFFICIAL RECEIPT?

"Section 237 provides that “All persons subject to an internal revenue tax shall, for each sale or transfer of merchandise or for services rendered valued at Twenty-five pesos (P25.00) or more, issue duly registered receipts or sales or commercial invoices, prepared at least in duplicate, showing the date of transaction, quantity, unit cost and description of merchandise or nature of service”.

This video only shows the requirements for getting your Certificate of Registration or BIR Form 2303. We'll talk about registering your Books of Accounts in another video. I am not in any way affiliated with the BIR. I just made this video for those who might need it. I'll answer your questions only if I can provide you with the correct information.
OTHERS:
🔸For tax filing, you can choose to do it yourself, or hire the services of an accountant.
🔸Remember to bring a pen and extra photocopies of your valid ID when you register.
🔸My business registration took place in the City of Pasig- RDO 043 (New Business Registration Counter is on the 2nd floor, COUNTER 7. Other cities/municipalities might have a slightly different process or require additional documents like the Letter of Intent or a sample Contract for clients.

5. Confirm details and payment amount of ₱530.00
6. Pay then take a screenshot of your receipt.

Hi Anya, all you have to do is visit the city hall and head to the counter that issues tax receipts. If they ask you what's it for, mention that you're an online English who needs it for your BIR registration. May bayad po ito. The price varies, depending on your LGU. Hi again, did you mention that you're a freelance online tutor? They might have thought you have an English tutorial center that's why naghanap ng other permits. When I registered, only the documents posted on the blog were required of me. Maybe you can call to clarify? Hope ma-register mo na sya soon 🙏

@@andivlogs Hello, update po Ms. Andi. Yes, informed them po na I am applying for online tutor. Nagtanong tanong ako ulit sa Treasurer's Office ng City Hall and even sa BIR din to clarify kung need ko ba talaga i-comply lahat nung mga hinihingi ng City Hall para lang makakuha ng OTR. They said it's really required daw and there are no alternative ways. So what I did is pumunta ako sa aming Municipal Hall instead to acquire an OTR there. Dun na po ako nakakuha ng OTR and wala silang hiningi sa akin na any kind of requirement. Nagbayad lang po ako. Thank you so much for your quick replies po 🙏🏼✨

Hi DK, for the business name, you should indicate your DTI-registered business name. If not applicable, yung full name mo yung ilalagay (independent professionals are not required to have a DTI registration, so the full name will be used instead). Hope that helps, salamat!

Hi Kristine, what penalty are you talking about? Once you secure your Authority to Print (ATP), you need to have your receipts printed within 30 days from the date you registered =)
