That opening scene was just perfect. It shows the grittier side of Star Wars and it also sets the serious tone for the show so well. Can't wait to watch the other 2 episodes.

The acting (and by extension directing of course) of this series is just unparalleled in the context of Star Wars. I'm not surprised personally since this comes from the Rogue One lineage and I stand by to this day that the best single scene of acting in ALL of Star Wars is the scene between Jyn and Andor when they have the argument in the ship after Jyn's father died and she suspects Andor was sent to kill him (which to be fair, he was, though he ended up not doing it). Their back and forth arguing ends with one of the most realest and raw line deliveries in Star Wars when Andor exlaims, "I've been in this fight since I was SIX years old!" I'm not saying it's the most dramatic scene or biggest scene, obviously that would be some big climatic scene in one of the films, this is a pretty small, focused scene. But just in terms of pure acting between two people, that's the best acting in Star Wars up to that point, though Andor might end up beating it!

5 BBY means 5 years before the Battle of Yavin I believe. So, this series is set 5 years before Rogue One.

A solid opening episode Great characters Andor, Bix and the red droid are particular standouts It was quite funny how close to the truth the police chief was with his own concocted scenario to explain the two cops deaths The planet they are on looks like a cross between Bracca(from fallen order) and Tattoine

No apologies needed for dang copyright Cat🤣 I love this so far! It's dark feels like Blade Runner set design at the beginning, Close ups and Amazing Acting! Not a lot of music but they way they do it is so Good!, Cassian growing up during the late Clone War's Flashback's are Amazing!, 😂 I remember Me and my friend's watching this and saying "Is this a Disney show!?" In a good way perfectly dark to line up with how grey he is by the time of Rogue One when we see him, Amazing 🎆🤘🎯 Looking forward to seeing the next Episode's reaction I'm invested in this so far, Great reaction and review as always Cat 🤘 "What happened to you as a child" 🤣 Comedy gold

5BBY is the same exact year that Star Wars rebels animated series first episode starts and a bunch of events that happened with the ghost crew.... Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker and Ezra are literally 14 years old during this... I thought I recognized the date but wasn't 100% sure well I am now,, pretty easy to google search epic easter egg.. I'm sure at some point it's going to show events of Star Wars rebels from a different point of view... Has to happen at some point Season two has already been approved and will lead right up to rogue one

Yeah.....this ain't yer grandaddy's Star Wars. I'm sure by now you've seen Episode 3. We've got some "sexy time" AND an "S" bomb dropped in Ep. 3. Caught me WAY off guard. We get a toilet in The Mandalorian and now a girl in her undies in Andor. I thought "there's no underwear in space", but that's all changed now😁. I wonder what else we'll get in the coming episodes. Can't wait for Episode 4 now.
