It takes place during the Mandalorian timeline since the pirate Vane is one of the main protagonists in the show.

Just so you know: Skeleton Crew takes place over 6 years after Return Of The Jedi. It's part of The Mandoverse (The Mandalorian, The Book Of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, The Mandalorian & Grogu, Heir To The Empire, etc.). Along that pocket universe timeline, this story seems to be taking place during or right after the events of Ahsoka. These 4 kids will get lost within both The Outer Rim and The Unknown Regions of the galaxy. Wouldn't be at all surprised, if they and Jude Law's character, Jod Na Nawood end up discovering segments of The Remnant Empire during their journey. Let's all have fun. BTW: Many of these new characters that We'll encounter in this Disney + series, will appear in The Mandalorian & Grogu, and probably Dave Filoni's film, which follows it.

I don't even quite remember very good the goonies movie, maybe i'll watch it again soon, i liked the trailer, knew it had that childish vibe, not an issue, but thought Lew was their teacher, in fact i thought they were all jedi, but it has sense that there were not many jedi around if this is in the same era of mandalorian, so they're kind of extinct, Luke's school is not finished yet, i hope it's something fresh and enjoyable, didn't like bobba and ashoka, did like acolyte, so i'll give it a chance as always, keep rocking and stay safe!

This looks like a great show to spawn future generations of Star Wars fans. I don't see any problem with that. Star Wars should be for everybody, not just people over 40

star wars IS for everyone, the original films are timeless as well as the prequels, we could just leave it at them in my opinion.

This film was not technically part of Marvel. It was a Marvel character who's film rights were owned by 20th century FOX who was convinced to make it R Rated. This also means it wasn't part of the Avengers universe. Now with Deadpool&Wolverine, it has been retconned to be part of the their multiverse which was not the case previously but now is after Marvel regained the film rights, and due to how popular Deadpool is they decided to continue his story which they had no involvement in previously and keep the R Rating. The same goes for the X Men films.

Ulf bugged me this episode, I was on Jace's side and wanted him to take Ulf down a peg. If there was another episode after this I'd have loved this ep, it's a good standalone episode, but as a season finale... it built up S3 but I wanted something more in a finale. Still the best show on tele right now imo though so can't complain too much!

Well, hang on a second. Let's just be _clear_ about this. Neither Wolverine _nor_ Deadpool are immortal. Each is _able_ to die, but it takes a hell of a lot _more_ than it takes with mere human beings, because of their augmented _healing_ factors. Even the kind of injury that would be _permanent_ with a mere human being (like a severed arm or leg) each is able to recover from. They cannot recover from a severed _head,_ though. _That_ kind of loss would be deadly.

27:30 Now consider, just what _is_ it that makes this moment so dramatic? I mean, these three people are just _walking._ But it looks _so badass_ when you play it in slow-mo and put this music over it.

"I can't... I don't... I'm... Am I alive right now?" Pretty much what we all said watching this... lol

23:01 "You're gonna _die!_ In _five minutes!"_ And that makes it worse, I think. A death that come _suddenly_ may _startle_ you, but a death that take a few _minutes_ that you can see coming but can't do a damned thing to _prevent?_ Oh, that's _terrifying._

“Aegon the Realms Delight”, is actually a really sad line. When Rhaenyra was younger, she was referred to as the “Realms Delight”. It just goes to show that all Aegon wants is love and attention as he has been deprived of that from everyone his whole life, especially his father. He just wants to be as valued as his sister is.

11:04 _"Oh!_ I can't believe this is a Marvel movie! Marvel, how did this happen?" Well, I mean this makes a lot more sense with _Marvel_ than with any _other_ company that makes movies based on comic book superheroes. To pull off this kind of movie, you need a character who regularly breaks the Fourth Wall. There are no such characters in DC.

The movie had a huge budget and was hyped but it tanked at the Box Office..it became a cult hit thanks to HBO consistently playing it (my first introduction) and then later it was a staple on the standard cable...they even released a 3 hour made for TV version which had an ending more faithful to the first novel...it really did become a cult classic and as I grew up I definitely fully enjoyed it for what it was...it's flawed and quirky but now it is so 80's. The Sci Fi Channel adaptations are also good but they suffered a bit more from having a limited budget but still worth watching if you are all about Dune...I like all the adaptations but I really do think the Dune Universe is better suited for an episodic series format...There is so much intrigue and houses to work with and you can really flesh a lot out of Frank's material...

Alia stole the show in this movie 🤣 I enjoyed watching your reactions! I remember my first time seeing this some time in the 80's my Uncle had it on in the living room and I was in the kitchen grabbing a snack, it was right in the beginning when the Navigator first appears and he could sense I was scared so he rushed in and grabbed me and brought me close to the TV and I was screaming! My older cousin was cracking up!

36:52 There's an underlying assumption, in this scene, that's kind of puzzling. I mean, this chase started in Mexico. Crossing the border into the US did not stop it; did not even slow it _down._ At this point, everyone is running for the border with _Canada._ What is it that gives these people the impression that the chase will stop at the _Canadian_ border?

32:19 Now, here, they're being disingenuous to the comics in _another_ way. In the comics, due mainly to his age and extensive world travels, Logan has become fluent in a _number_ of languages, including _Spanish._ But Hugh Jackman is from Australia, in a part of the world where Spanish speakers are quite rare. So I figure _he_ is not able to speak even a few phrases. Thus, they adapted the character to the long-identified actor which whom he has become associated.
@lazyperfectionist12 күн бұрын
23:27 "Can we show our appreciation and treat the three of you to a decent meal?" Xavier manages (somehow) to pressure Logan into taking them _up_ on this. That's _baffling._ I mean, these three are on the run. There are people _hunting_ them. That fact will endanger _anyone_ who takes them in. Logan knows what it is to be on the run. Logan has _experience_ with it. Xavier _doesn't._ Xavier should have the sense to defer.

5:57 This scene's especially tough for _Star Trek_ fans to watch. As far as most of us are aware, Stewart has _always_ provided good fodder for bald jokes. But being bald is _one_ thing. Being decrepit and visibly deteriorated is _another._
@lazyperfectionist12 күн бұрын
6:19 It's bad enough when _anyone_ has a seizure, but when a _telepath_ has one, everyone _around_ feels it. This is the reason Xavier has to live in isolation and have so few contacts.

1:37 "I literally just rewatched this movie for the first time in a _long_ time, last night, and, um, I was like, 'This is amazing. I frickin' love this movie,' and then tell me why I went and saw that _this_ (38% on Rotten Tomatoes) _is the score!"_ I'll grant you, it _is_ a very well made movie. Devoted fans were quick to point out, though, that it _utterly_ misrepresents Deadpool. It's not fair to him at _all._ That was probably the _main_ reason for such a low score.
