Andre 3000 Reveals Why He Ran Away From Hollywood
Ask anyone in the hip-hop scene about Andre Benjamin, better known as Outkast's Andre 3000, and you're likely to hear them discussing his status among the greatest rappers ever.
From Travis Scott to Future and Childish Gambino, his influence and the respect he commands are more universal than practically anyone still in the game.
Armed with unparalleled lyrical wit and a vast repertoire of flows, Andre 3000 is the rapper's rapper. So much so that when Kendrick Lamar, arguably the contemporary king of bars, was about to drop "good kid, m.A.A.d city," getting Andre's seal of approval was something he actively sought out.

I think André is a beautiful person, and I fully understand and applaud his decision to do what was best for him. People are going to have something to say. It's unavoidable. But real fans will employ empathy and compassion for the person he is instead of only seeing him as a performer for their entertainment. I always said I would much rather be rich but not famous. You lose yourself when everyone knows of you. God bless him. Keep doing you, André.

The man is humble. Can't you all see it on him? His whole oral is humble. No, he don't want to be a part of Hollywood and all of their bull crap. I'm so glad he didn't join Hollywood. I was wondering what happened now. I know he backed away. They didn't gaslight him and blacklist him. He turned them down. That feels so good to hear some like that. A real man represent the brothers out here man you do that shit Andre you stand your ground. We mentally support you with your decision. Everybody need to follow suit but it's too late. They already wrapped up in Hollywood too much. This man should have been a motivational speaker. He has that critique that demeanor that character that posture. He has the speech and the vocal accord to address a crowd
