I like so much that him greets everybody, he is really serious with his karate and shares what his latest teacher taught him, the information shared by Andre Sensei it is 1 million years far away from what is being taught in some places were only sports karate is being taught.

Not heard of Andre until recent weeks. But enjoy his teachings. Like my own Sensei's, Andre us very clear And concise in his mannerism And techniques. You could watch with no sound And still understand just by watching his technique And body positioning And posture.

I was very happy to teach in Italia, the seminars here in Lignano Sabbiadoro and also in Mira were great! Does anyone have footage from the Mira seminars I taught? If so please email me! It is great that Oliver uploaded this. Let's work together to keep Asai-ha Shotokan karate technically preserved. If you practice Karate and have the chance to go to a seminar with Andre Bertel sensei - go! I can wholeheartedly recommend it. He puts Karate out of the "it's a sport" mindset and back on the old track: Practising Karate is about learning the art of fighting.

finally, a shotokan master that i like :D Andre Bertel shows a shotokan that works but does not try to stray from Karate inlike any masters who mutate into an MMA kickboxing style when trying to make it real :)
