Came here to see his win and am watching “Glory” as I write this. I’m sad that I never got to meet him. I have fond memories of watching Homicide:Life On the Street” with my kids. Every Friday night we’d sit on the top bunk and watch his character Frank get somebody in the box and interrogate the hell out of them. We lived for those scenes. So talented. I agree, he should’ve had more Emmys and more film opportunities. But he excelled at the roles he was given. Praying for wife and family. I’m just sad.

Emmy's are a racist bunch, this is why they waited so long till he was on his final season. I think it's why Homicide was never nominated either. The show's stars were mostly Black.
