My girlfriend showed me this video when we first met 7 years ago. When she moved in with me she brought her two standard poodles with her. Every now and again, we think of this video, Andre and the early years of our relationship. The two poodles are now 11 and 12 and still going strong. The girlfriend became my wife! We love this video, it touched us in a way you cannot imagine. All our love, Rob and Sarah.

I love poodles so much! They are truly "soulful" beings and extremely intelligent which makes them even more human-like. That is why I believe Andre was truly enjoying the music not just reacting to the pitch.I am sincerely sorry for your loss, I lost one of my poodles last September and know how much that loss hurts your heart. Know that Andre is in a better place and still singing beautiful songs.

I lost my beautiful boy the day before you uploaded this. I still miss him. This video made me cry all over again. He looked very much like Andre. He was blue and would howl at fire engines, and the look surprised that he make such a noise. He was Moose.

Tears. Stumbled upon this while pining for my adored standard Sophie. She died the week before Easter 2013, just after her 11th bday, from complications from squamous cell carcinoma (cancer in the bones in her toe), and I still miss her every day. She was with me and my husband (and eventually my kiddos - now 3 and 6) through good times and bad. Poodles are very special people. We were so lucky to call her a member of our family!

Admittedly, I still have a difficult time watching this video. But I celebrate his amazing life and wonderful spirit and presence he had during his life. I'm seeing relatives that are now about 5 generations down from his litter mates and I see that full of it spunk and attitude. It warms my heart!

If you were ever blessed to own a poodle, you can relate to these comments made back in 2010. It makes no difference the year, the feelings are the same for any poodle owner who has lost their dog. We have had three of them now and have never been lucky enough to have one live past 13..All miniatures. We all love and miss our dogs, whatever the breed, but sometimes there is a very special dog that really is the most wonderful of all the wonderful ones you have had. Obviously, Andre is Mighty Kale's. Make no mistake about this though. you two will be together again at the Rainbow Bridge. This was a wonderful experience with Andre..Thank you very much.

The silver poodles, like Andre, are special and act differently than other colors of poodles. The silver poodles we have had have been wonderful and loving family members. I miss them so.

Trumpet Dawg No they are not. I have George a silver poodle from Colorado. He was bread on a goat farm from a 10 year old silver bitch allowed one litter a year. George's brethren were apricot and black. His father was apricot and a leaner. George too turned out to be a leaner and loving 15 month puppy so far. He is totally bonded to me and chews up my shoes and socks like a normal pre-adult standard poodle. I say they are not different because I owned Chunchy for 10 years before he died from poor diagnosis from a vet and poor care from me in finding him a new vet. He did depend on me. He died from a simple foxtail infection. The vet Lincoln ave San Jose vet thought the puss packet was a fat module.

What a beautiful dog, this is such a heartbreakingly beautiful video. It took me three years to finally go back to the vet and pick up my cat's memorial paw prints after I had to put her down due to a sudden illness. Her name was Hazel, a beautiful Siamese with a soul so sweet and kind I still get choked up just thinking about her, I miss her so much. She lived to be 13. My fiance and I are getting our first dog - or WERE getting our "first" dog (a miniature poodle) until we realized we wanted his sister too because we didn't want to separate them, so we're getting two now (if the girl is still available - we will find out tomorrow). We've already put the deposit down on the black boy, and just inquired about his sister, a blue girl. I love poodles so much, they're such intelligent, sensitive, intuitive, beautiful dogs. I've owned a poodle before, but my fiance has never had a pet before in his life, and if there's any breed that will make him fall in love with dogs, it's a poodle. ;)

Andre is beautiful and he "sings" so well in this video. I can see why you would miss him still. My "Honey" the toy poodle is just 2.5 weeks short of her 12th birthday. She is such a joy. So far she is healthy but I know I won't have her forever. Do you ever feel Andre around or think you hear him? Supposedly they go where we go and they also hang around their human companions still here on the earth plane. I think this is true since I actually saw my Maltese walk into the kitchen one day after she passed. Totally blew me away!
