That's one of the reasons I'll never agree with ward being #2 p4p along with ridiculous inactivity. Floyd, Pacquiao, Hopkins and just about any other great fighter moves up in weight or at least negotiates catch weights. Wards upcoming fight is at 170 so I don't think 175 is unreasonable when it's what the public wants and he'd have 3/4 of the light heavyweight belts should he win. It'd be a no brainier for a true great. It's not like ward started out at a small weight. It's moving up one weight class, he's already fighting in between super middle and light heavy.

Thats just stupid what Andre says about UK and Ireland fans travelling because "they have less options" in sport. If anything they probably have more options than Americans. The Irish have a lot of boxers but national sports like hurling and gaelic football dominate most of the public's interest just like baseball and american football do in the States. Then theres rugby in which Ireland are one of the best countries in the world, and then golf, and soccer, and mma, and so much other shit. I'd have thought Andre would know a bit more on the subject being half Irish and all. Irish and UK fans have national pride that Americans just dont understand because their country is more like a continent of countries known as "states". It has an endless amount of different races and ethnicities that arent integrated together so theres no consistent culture or national identity within it.
