Enjoying your videos on organizing/decluttering & diy hacks! I'm really glad you took the time to mention more specifically how to access local donation centers. Our communities so need these resources & the services they all provide. Like you mentioned, I enjoy/specifically donate to churches & the Red Cross when I want items to be given directly to people in need. I also still donate to Goodwill... as their overall focus tends to be more toward helping those in need by utilizing the $ from sales to assist those who are disabled &/or unemployed with getting up/back up on their feet... career services (resume writing, job training/interviewing skills), financial literacy & even assistance with securing housing in some areas. Our communities need them all! 🌼 🙂

I use cardboard boxes, too. If you want them to be pretty and/or coordinate, use craft paint, spray paint, or wallpaper/peel&stick paper to cover the outsides.

Decluttering is so important and I LOVE that you always do it! It shows you really know what your doing!!! You did amazing and this was great advice for us to do it for our selves! Goodwill actually hires people to work there that may have disabilities that maybe wouldn't be hired at a conventional store. Part of the higher prices you pay at Goodwill, go to helping these people earn a living. If I am donating something, I don't really care what is done with it. It is out of my home, which was the goal to begin with.

☝May I add your donations list? Old-style clothes; can be of great help to the senior citizen's facilities. Some of our family members are usually 'dumped' there and have limited resources. Women Shelters. Many of these women and children were able to leave with only the clothes on their backs. Schools and /or school districts. Find out if they have a homeless clothes closet. They can give a wardrobe to kids who are without clothes...their parents can use this new wardrobe for themselves. Church Closets...many have these at tier stakes, diocies, etc.
