The Fenty flyliner, while a fabulous shade of black, most definitely spreads into the fine lines of mature eyelids. I've tried it twice and it's a no-go for me ~ I've never had that issue with the KVD eyeliner though, which is my waterproof go-to!! ☺

The Revlon colorstay creme eyeshadows in espresso and chocolate make great eye-liner. I've been using them for years like that., as well as normal eyeshadows. They have some awesome colors too., like praline and Caramel. But try the top two shades for eye-liner, I think you'll like them.

I was a teenager when I first found your channel, and I remember you had a video where you said that you weren't recommending or purchasing from a certain popular brand because they weren't inclusive of different skin tones back then. As a teenage brown girl venturing into makeup for the first time, it was really impactful to see someone who didn't look like me still think about people who look like me. A lot of the makeup people I followed then were lighter people (usually white lol) who never took a stance like that; maybe they would comment on a bad shade range, but they would still purchase from the brand and recommend the products, and I had never thought much about it. I just accepted that I wouldn't be able to try certain things. You actually inspired me to want better for myself, my wallet and other minorities who are marketed to everyday by these companies who want our money but don't think about us when making the products. We definitely vote with our wallet! Thank you for being a lovely and sincere person. It's been very special to watch you, your channel and your content develop over the years. For the maneater blush.. i have several shades and love them all.. better than the rare beauty… BUT i also have that light peach and it’s awful.. it’s legit the one bad egg! Try another.. they are beautiful.. The others are also a much creamier consistency than that light peach which is watery. Cheers!

For the Maneater blushes, I find you have to get one of the darker more vibrant colors. I have strawberry and raspberry. They are pigmented and if you just use a couple dots it won’t lift your foundation. I feel like you may have used too much of the buffed peach color and that’s why it lifted.

I have Strawberry, Peachy Pink, and Buff. The Buff color is so light and always looks like it lifts my foundation. The other two are gorgeous. I put 2-3 dots on my cheek and use the e.l.f. Ultimate Blending brush. Perfection. No lifting and no patchiness. I would suggest using a brush like that one and a more vibrant color since they can be sheer or built up.

I really enjoy my Patrick Ta bronzer duo. I’ve got the blush duo as well and I think they are more pigmented. However, I still like the Patrick Ta bronzer duo as it applies great with a brush and does not look patchy on me. I enjoy the fenty cream bronzer & CT cream bronzer as well. For powder bronzer I enjoy the Ilia & Huda Beauty ones.

I swatched buffed peach in store and saw how light it was. It might be lifting because you are using so much to get it to show up. I bought Buff & Raspberry during the sale. I love them so much. You definitely just got the wrong color. I was afraid Raspberry might be too dark, but it is so pretty. I use just a dot just like I do with Rare Beauty. I have the PeachyPink color in my cart for my next order.

I agree! I bought buff and peachy pink during the sale and buff has become my go-to! I dab it on the back of my hand, tap it with a sponge to get even color, then go in on my face and it doesn’t lift even if I apply it over powder.

I wanna try the hard candy lip melts but when i was in Walmart i picked up some things from the wet n wild Scooby-Doo collection. The childhood girl in me need it lol. The jennifer coolidge elf collab is so cute but not the color for me. I do wish elf would release the lip liners they do for there collabs though

I recommend the LA Girl Volumatic as a $6.99 tubing mascara for volume! It does pretty well with lengthening too, but I’m especially happy with the volume as I agree some tubing mascaras are too natural-looking for me. I just ordered the KVD tubing mascara, so I’m hoping to be impressed by that one too 🤞

Saie is a little cooler toned and more brown! Milani almost pulls a little red on me and the formula is thinner, more like a true oil. Saie feels more like a gloss compared to Milani but it’s still thin, non sticky at all!

I love the Merit shadows! I have 3 of them. I sometimes layer them with the Rare Beauty shadow sticks for the glitter. I have SUPER oily lids, and they never crease on me. RB sticks are $22 bucks so $24 bucks to me seems to fall in line for the one shadow price point. Laura Mercier, Victoria Beckham and Hourglass single shadows and shadow sticks are $34 price point. Merit is high end to me and not your Coulorpop super shock price point.

The price point is on par with high-end brands, but I don’t find the quality the same- unlike so many of their other products I absolutely love! I wish they worked for me because I do love how they are so blendable but no matter what I do after five or six hours I experience major creasing. 😭

The 3 month mascara rule is a bit much. Mascara should last/be good for about 6 months! I think makeup companies made that 3 month ruleto bet people to keep constantly buying! But i always keep my mascara for at least 6 months and ive never had an issue! I've heard from professionals that its 6 months not 3 too!

It’s true! The makeup industry guidelines when it comes to expiration can tend to be shorter than necessary in an effort to sell more product. I’m only pretty strict about mascara because my eyes are sensitive and I’ve had an eye infection or two and it’s the worst. 😭
