I would love to see you guys renovate a house. I don’t just watch your videos because of the traveling, but also because I like your personalities. So making a “home improvement” video series would be fun. 🙂

Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate that! We're looking forward to something new but are very far from done with travelling! 😊

I think being closer to, or on the outskirts of, a small town, neighbours who can keep an eye on your property while you're away, balcony with a sea view, little enclosed back garden for Millie, quick morning walk for fresh bread, evening stroll to a family run eatery, is the way to go. A lot of us dream of being in the middle of nowhere, while what we really need is a sense of belonging, a community, children's voices, friendship with older people....

Seconded. While I can't pretend to know what is best for André and Lisa, I do know that I would prefer something like you just described.

You seemed almost apologetic for looking at properties. We follow you because you're entertaining, interesting and nice people. Whether you're in a motorhome or house.

Aah thanks. In a way talking about it like this is a way for us to break it down for ourselves. We're still in two minds to be honest 😁

We are looking for the same 😂. A place to spend in the winter time (from Denmark) we are going to travel around in 25, 26 > and see if we find the right spot. I'm in construction biz for years and arkitekt too. Have flip house many times and built new ones too. But will be nice to have boat near, also because spearfishing are my favorite thing. I'm thinking Portogal or Greek, but very open. We was in Montenegro this summer, it was quite good, and l think or sure the prices will go high when they are full EU members. Let's see what you guys find, it very exciting things to watch

I knew it... ;-) Great video guys. I love your thought processes. Keep looking, your little (or not so little!) piece of Italy is out there. Its so true that when you are thinking of doing something like this, that you need to use your head but also listen to your heart. Which unfortunately ends up with a lot of pulling and pushing of ideas. I have remotely looked at some 1 dollar projects in Italy before. The reality is a sensible buy would need at least 60-100K of investment. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you. I love how you think !

Thanks guys, this was great - looking forward to the next one! We're on the "looking at thousands online" stage so its really helpful seeing the next stage :-)

That stage is the most exhausting! Or that's what we thought! 🤣

Yes a good idea, but so difficult to choose with all those considerations. We may well be in that position soon ourselves, but different location. Good luck 🤞

Thanks RnR! There are so many things to take into consideration and we're learning so much so quickly! Will be interested to know where you choose. Cheers! 😊

Guys, what are you doing 😂 You seem very excited about it. For what I've seen, I like the Beach House, plenty of room, because you will be outside enjoying the sun and view from the roof terrace or travelling 😀 Wish you all the best 👍 🐸

We have no idea what we're doing. 😁 Can't you tell!

Exactly agree with the comments if you lived in a tent I’d follow your stories, very entertaining couple. Actually my wife and myself have been very interested in the Italian 1€ house Opportunity 🙏🏻👍

The last one for sure. 20,000 m3 is like over 4 acres. If they would allow a light weight roof top room that would be great, you could double the floor area if the planning dept allows it

Big move to buy property, especially for the short term, although I'm sure it would be in a better condition after you had it for a while. So far they are not exactly comfortable looking!

Great vid. Similar opportunities in Spain but unless you can DIY then you are at the mercy of local tradesmen who soon have you over a barrel. I don't blame them either. 👍

Definitely the same thing in Italy. It's a minefield! Our idea of a 'project' is definitely fading fast 😁

You probably know that Puglia is struggling with an infestation of their olive trees and they are dying in record numbers. There currently is no cure. It is Xylella Fastidiosa and is why some of the trees in your photos show dead and impaired trees. This affects the purchase price so check the trees on your properties that you bid on. Good luck!
@WeWillNomad2 сағат бұрын
Thank you. Yes, that farm "seventy" originally had double the number of trees and they were only able to save about half. Definitely a contributing factor to it decision making. Thanks for the advice! 😊

Red tape in Italy is infamous. Spain or Portugal still has it but are better!
