I would love a RX10V! Sony doesn't even need to update the optics if it's too much work or can't be improved upon, just throw in the latest 1" sensor, the latest processor, the latest AI AF and maybe move to the Z batteries - perfection!

yep my semtiments exactly i dont see it at atll. a1, a1ii, a9iii despite higher bursts they arent used often and most are sitting around 20fps on them and at 44mp ppl would go a7v

I agree and if they make it 44mp stacked but only 20fps then it will be behind the completion . I think it could be a 33mp stacked or partially stacked sensor and with the basic flip out screen. The thing is with Sony, they have no stacked camera in the price band of the Z8 and R5ii. So do they want the A7V to compete with those cameras or the R6II and Z6III

All I want from the A75 is 4k 60 no crop, 20fps, better evf and back screen, latest ai chip and af features with the new bigger body. I had a long conversation with my hard drive, and he said 33mp is all we need.

@michaelmiller7928 lmao ok bud. Gfx lenses are great for landscape but lack any character whatsoever. I've sold most of them off. Laowa makes great glass rich guy. It's not about having the money but rather being smart about it. Laowa 105 kills the gfx 110 IMO and it's $400 vs $2300....

A7V is all I care about - I doubt they will give us more than 33Mpx ( if they do great ) more important we need 20 Fps, raw/ compressed, full sensor 4k/60, much better EVF / Tilt screen - if they do , I will upgrade my A7V day 1 🔥

Hi. I hope we will see a7rVI to bring the price of a7rV under 2200€ hope for 2000€ for the second-hand market. And maybe if there will be 44mp a7V with a faster sensor, it will be a better choice. I'm thrilled with a sony future. Also, it would be nice for Sony to release some PF lenses that could use TCs. Sigma 500mm PF is nice, but the absence of TC use is limiting as well as FPS limit. Something like 600 mm f5,6 300mm f2.8 PF would be nice with 1:3 reproduction ratio would be really nice portraiture/wild lens, but there is no need for such lens, because sony released one while ago but price tag is not PF but PR-ofesional 😅 also 200mm f2 for sony? I'm all in, Sony rocks. Also, IDK how many of you are Sony APS-C shooters, but something like APS-C Zoom with f1.8 would be great... (16-35ish f1.8) Like Sigma 18-35 f1.8 but native for Sony. Or 50-100mm f1.8. These lenses were so awesome on Nikon APS-C bodies. I used them literally for everything 😁😁

​@TECH3_ PHASE FRESNEL - Nikon, as well as Canon, used this kind of lens design to save weight of lenses... for example nikon have 500mm f5.6 which is just 1.46kg heavy ... and 300mm f4 which has around 750g and only 14,7cm 😂. Both are great lenses. 300mm has 0.24 magnification ratio and could take 1.4tc 1.7tc and 2.0tc so you could have 600mm f8 under 1kg and which has ability to focus from 1.4m 😆 it was great lens i miding a lot.

@BryceShamwow Hi 🙂 for example, Nikon released Nikon Z 800 mm f/6,3 VR S, which is PF lens, which weighs only 2385g which is amazing. IQ of this lens is superb 😉 you can find a lot about this lens ... release date was, i think, in 2022. Also, another example is NIKKOR Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S released 2023, which is also a PF lens, and again, IQ is superb. You can look at some reviews. Great lenses 🙂

I have a two questions Andreas, since probably all Sony cameras going forth will have the AI chip built in can you ask your sources if the A7RV, which doesn’t have the pre-capture button could through a firmware update be given the pre-capture feature and you could program your own button for it. My second questions is for a person that has never been to the mountains, how long will it take your body to adjust to that altitude. Thanks for all that you do.

I'd be very surprised if Sony added that to that camera with how glacially slow that sensor is: there wouldn't really be any point, as anything usefully captured with it would have severe rolling shutter distortion.
