Yes it does. But it's only 60i. Plug the hdmi cable and press the shutter button, then disable the info screen so you can have a clean output

It should recognize any brand. If it doesn't then the SD port is damaged

Nope, this is one camera where you can't adjust the focus manually, only the exposure compensation.
