One thing I noticed in this year's championship - Andrei with his baby face never looks like he will pick up those heavy weights whereas Martinosyan comes with such an aggressive face that it appears he will lift the entire stage up
@WeightliftingHouse5 жыл бұрын
I would say it is an experience thing, but even 11 years ago Aramnau was quite calm. Other than hurrying up the stairs to the stage you don't see any aggression.

Aramnau was a real talent for the sport. Too bad we didn't get to see him to his max potential
@09thespecialone6 ай бұрын
According to him, he only competed when his records where in jeopardy of getting broken. Which means, he had the career he intended to do. Max potential? Yes, we wished that another prodigy like him at the time pushed him to compete at full strength (yup you read that well). His total at Beijing 08 (200/236) in the former -105 kg class is still higher than the one in the current -109 kg class. His senior records were also juniors records (even Ilyn didn’t do it)…And he did all of that as a 20 years old boy teenager. Not only a real talent. He was the greatest 105 kg lifter of his era. And arguably one of best weightlifters of all time. He’s the most talented weightlifter I’ve ever seen (he was stronger than Ilyn).
