Wow that is amazing! Really nice to showcase an empty house . I tried a few apps to create a 2d floor plan but it wasn’t great. I will try cubicasa 👍

Mind Blowing! A couple of questions: In order to scan the perimeter... it has to be done at once all over the whole property? meaning: we should not stop scanning to switch to another area or floor correct? All in one "video/scan take". Then we can get the 2D floor plan for free... and for the 3D and virtual "furniture/arrangement" it is better to get the bundle $150 which brings everything... I am going to give it a try! Thanks for the info! cheers!
@AndreiRestrepo7 ай бұрын
All correct! Yes, one entire scan. And yes, the $150 everything is the best deal in my opinion! Thanks for watching

So I use Zillow 3D home tour now, which is free.. it's decent when it works, and sells pretty well since it's a low cost add on. I like the idea of the "doll house" feature of CubCasa without having to pay for a Matterport subscription. BUT, Cubicasa isn't a low cost sell to agents either. The Virtual Video tour is cool, but im curious how that works with a furnished home, and also if you're only scanning the floor boards.. Also, Zillow wont do Commercial buildings.. will CubiCasa scan Commercial?
@AndreiRestrepo5 ай бұрын
I just started using Zillow tour too, definitely prefer the stuff from CC but it his definitely on the pricer side for agents. I think they try their best to keep the existing furniture, or remove it and put virtual ones in if it's cluttered or vacant. And yes, I know of others that use it for commercial scanning for floor plans, but haven't personally tried it on the 3D products. Thanks for watching!

Giving away the secrets! Agents are going to just start doing this instead of paying photographers to do it once they figure out how simple it is.

Is the 3D bundle possible with just a baseboard scan or does it require more of a wall scan? Not sure how Cubicasa can pickup vaulted ceilings and window heights without a scan of those areas. Could you clarify? Thank you for the video.
@AndreiRestrepo4 ай бұрын
Thanks! Not sure either, some magic AI happening with it. You just scan towards the base boards and then it can pick up the rest, honestly not sure how they do it!

I haven’t personally, I found that some tried and it wasn’t 100% accurate, like maybe off by a little bit. I think it can vary by space! I’d try it out yourself and have a regular method to test the measurements and compare. Thanks for watching!

How is it able to create a video render of ceiling heights or anything higher than 4 feet if you’re always pointing the camera at the floorboards. For instance, it knew the upper part of the fireplace design without you even showing it?

How much roughly does it cost per floor plan? Or as a user do you pay a monthly subscription?
@AndreiRestrepo3 ай бұрын
I believe the 3D marketing pack costs us $150 and then you can set your own rates for what you charge for it. Like some shooters double the cost or something like that
@rahimqureshi64844 ай бұрын
What anout for non vacant homes? Like if there are couchws or things in fromt of the baseboards? Akso if the house id multple floors do you take multiple scans? And them are you charged per floor?
@AndreiRestrepo4 ай бұрын
So I believe if there is existing furniture they try to replicate it the best they can, and yeah even if there's furniture in front of the base boards, it still does it fine! This home had a 2 story and it was just one charge, you can put in the app you are scanning another floor

Does the 3D video rendering replace the furniture that is already there if it's not an empty home?

Latest update from CubiCasa makes you orient your phone in portrait mode. This way tends to more easily grab floor to ceiling scans. I've been marketing the 3D walk through video to agents who typically sell the "fixer-uppers" and messy rentals .. here's a sample: kzbin.info/www/bejne/noLbapetib1_rsUsi=06ESs4bFd8zLX17Y
