THE most amazing thing to me about Segovia, aside from the obvious, is that, for 68 years of concert-giving, he never used amplification !! After hearing him play Capricho Arabe I was convinced that he, along with Barrios, were the greatest guitarists - ever!

I saw him once… in the early 70s…this is truly tender and contemplative but not at all melancholy…

@TheBrettHughes No, I can't (especially with an audience of up to 5000 !). But, as the Maestro said, "it's the clarity that carries, not the volume"

even the greatest master has a split second of time where he might make an error, see 0:18 - 0:20, in which he almost placed the wrong fingering... But he is still one of the greatest maestro!!! :)

@Crustaceanzx that's the difference from maestro to normal guitar player... even if they made mistake, no body will not be able to notice it live... their finger just too damn fast...
