I don't get all the whiners who are hating on our beloved Doctor. This newest Who is amazing. The last 3 episodes were beautifully and uniquely perfect. If David Tennant were performing these exact episodes, people would rave over them. It's all the haters that are mad before a single second of the new episodes. In 3 episodes, we've had fun, quirky,, campy, drama....and genuine fear of these new DW Baddies. Ncuti and Millie have been EXTRAORDINARY 🥰🥰🥰

Personally, I didn't like the first episode, or the song & dance routine in episode 2, but that doesn't make them bad, they're just not episodes for me. The only thing in Doctor Who that stays the same is that it always changes. 😁

In the comics the Warrior/War Doctor is shown to have been the one that took out the sonic blaster factories, it’s how the Doctor met Dorium Maldovar, (he provided River with a vortex manipulator, got decapitated by the Headless Monks, and technically still lives as a head in a box.)

My favourite episode of the new series so far!! I especially loved how the doctor babbled whenever he got too stressed, and Ncuti's performance was amazing 👏 Same with Millie's

Yeah we saw the Anglican Marines last back in Matt Smiths day, twice in the Weeping Angels two-parter Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, then again in A Good Man Goes To War. We've not seen them since and don't really know why the church has a military in the far future. All the Doctors are the same person, just some aspects of their character is more to the front with some of them, but they are the same person with the same memories overall. If that helps lol. There was no point in running near the end cos they said if that mine blew up the Doctor it would take out half the planet, where you gonna run to?

When you know there is no chance of survival, how would you choose to spend your final moments, running or holding on to someone you care about until the end?
@AndresElRey4 ай бұрын
Probably would run with the person I loved or never stopped trying. That's just me. And as we see they both survived, so there was a chance of survival.

A Good Man Goes to War was the end of Series 6A with Matt Smith. Remember Dorium, the blue fat guy who gets his head chopped off by the monks? It's that episode.

Wikipedia: "The Skye Boat Song" is a late 19th-century Scottish song adaptation of a Gaelic song composed c.1782 by William Ross, entitled Cuachag nan Craobh ("Cuckoo of the Tree").[1] In the original song, the composer laments to a cuckoo that his unrequited love, Lady Marion Ross, is rejecting him. The 19th century English lyrics instead evoked the journey of Prince Charles Edward Stuart ("Bonnie Prince Charlie") from Benbecula to the Isle of Skye as he evaded capture by government soldiers after his defeat at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.

I know peoppe didnt like that song in devils chord...but...at a guess i think it might be connected to the series arc. The tune seemed to be based on the Giggle melody. And it had famous dancers in it that are recognisable by UK viewers. There's something meta going on.

Don't listen to the 'reviews'. The vast majority of them is just hate for no reason yk? But anyway, this episode I think is a classic! P. S. Just thought I'd recommend a show to you. It's called Merlin and its a modern telling of Arthurian legend and is very similar in tone/style to Doctor Who, and I think you'd love it!

I heard of merlin many many times people have suggested it I think once I wrap up some of these shows I will look into it

Google: Is Anglican different from Church of England? The Church of England, or Anglican Church, is the primary state church in England, where the concepts of church and state are linked. The Church of England is considered the original church of the Anglican Communion, which represents over 85 million people in more than 165 countries.13 Feb 2018

I'm not and never have been a fan of Moffats series writing but his single episode stories never seem to disappoint. Very emotional episode, best of the series so far!

Best of the new series in my opinion - actual drama rather than just spectacle. To be honest I've always felt that while RTD can do some great emotional arcs his individual stories are often the weakest in the run - and he does seem to find farts, belching and *looks at camera to make important social point with a clang* very important. Ncuti is a brilliant actor and in Boom he finally got to show it rather than grinning and winking at the camera. I also loved Mundy,- the actor of whom is going to be a companion in the next season. Fun callback by the way - the weapon manufacturers Villengard were first mentioned in The Empty Child/Doctor Dances as where Jack got his gun from... and the Doctor hints strongly that at some point he destroyed them and left only banana groves in their place. Having seen how they work I think he did the right thing.

This was a really decent episode, I think I'd rate it 7 or 8/10. You can tell the budget wasn't huge since it's basically shot in one place, but it had some great and quotable lines. And I love it every time the Doctor sings LOL. Ncuti Gatwa is just an amazing actor.

Ruby is the toymakers daughter, who knows but I think the aliens so far have been low budget they don't scare me like the silence or a dalek would.

I have absolutely loved these episodes sooo much this year. It feels so much like the Doctor Who I used to love. Having said that, if anyone wants to hate on "woke" subjects (which I am sensitive to). Then at this point it is just haters. These have been awesome episodes.

Moffat is my favourite writer on Dr Who and it's so great to have him back. And he has delivered yet another absolute classic ! Tense, clever & thrilling, with Ncuti absolutely bringing it! 10/10 for me

This episode was phenomenal! Best of the RTD 2 era in my opinion. I forgot that when Stephen Moffat isn’t writing his own long-form story, which he’s kind of bad at, when he’s just writing episodic one-offs, he’s a fantastic writer. This is some of the most Doctor Who-esque dialogue we’ve ever had. It was filled with so much tension. My shoulders still hurt. And it was filled with all of Moffat’s classics: religious soldiers, evil robots, faltering tech. And it finally felt like Ruby had a defining moment as a companion in defying the Doctor by handing him the casket and not tossing it. I also loved the inclusion of the “Skye Boat Song.”

Anglican Marines Andres but I much prefer your 'Angelican Marines! A great episode. Love it when the Doctor has to be clever! Did you notice that the ambulance lady has appeared in the last few episodes?
