@@DJGAMESUK At the moment, I am linking all these fantastical characters, including The Celestial Toymaker, with The Eternals that appeared in the Davison era. I don't know if the link has been made in the original novels or not as I am overwhelmingly familiar with what has been shown on the television. Of course, CT originally appeared in the Hartnell era, but I'm just supposing here. The Eternals used mortal beings as a source of entertainment to stop themselves being bored.

I think I'm agreeing with the original show's decision to have aliens just destroy the sonic screwdriver. It was WAY too easy. Not impressed with Ruby since she's a mystery like Clara. But this is an enjoyable show.
