@AndresRestart,It Is Most Likely That The Next installment of the Racing Series Get Paid DLC released over the Course of the Switch 2 Life Span,DLC Packs which includes More Karts & Bikes from Past Games,maybe a Handful of Vehicles per Game,like The Karts of each Character Combo From Mario Kart Double Dash,DS,maybe even Karts & Bikes from Wii & Vehicles from Mario Kart 7,& A New Item Which resembles A 9,& Therefore it’s Gonna Call the successor Mario Kart 9,also it’s More than 9 Years since A Original New title in this Franchise,so it’s perfect with These Features I Mentioned at the top of my Comment

The one feature that I would like to see them add in the next Mario Kart is Double Dash mode cause I love playing Mario Kart Double Dash and that would be cool if they added that to the next Mario Kart Game.

I imagine this would be either a reboot of Mario Kart since we have been playing the same Mario Kart for the last 10 years so a lot of time has passed for them to develop something completely new. Or they could go the ULTIMATE route like smash wii u and smash ultimate did and create the ultimate Mario Kart with all the tracks coming back, but I don't know. I think this is similar to what happened with the New Super Mario Bros. series. New Super Mario Bros. U was 11 years old when Super Mario Bros. Wonder came out. Next year will be 11 years since Mario Kart 8 came out so I think because how long of a gap there has been between Mario Kart 8 and the next Mario Kart, I think we could be getting something pretty different and substantial from what Mario Kart was 10 years ago. Adding more Nintendo characters is definitely a much welcomed and awesome addition to the roster, but it will still be Mario Kart. The look and design of the game Im sure will be outstandingly gorgeous coming from what 8 looked like. Im honestly more interested in the engine and the physics of the game. How will accelerating feel, how will drifting feel? Knowing this will be a Mario Kart built from the ground up once again, I really can't wait to see how they take the mechanics and techniques of 8 and take the competitive aspect of Mario Kart to the next level. Also I hope for a much needed and BIGGER integration of Online. Maybe a hub world and more modes. Something to show that Playing online doesn't have to be about boosting VR only and playing competitively. This next Mario Kart should bring the best of both types of players. The casual and the competitive.

I like the idea of an expansion pass released over a few years. The bcp was a lot of fun : discovering 2 new cups every 4 months between 2022 and 2023 kept things fresh & exciting. Also I am convinced MK9 is coming next year. If anything, it was probably postponed because mk8dx was so ridiculously successful. MK will be the perfect franchise to drive sales of the new console.

I think the Wonder Flower from Mario Wonder could be a really fun way to add more variety and replayabillity to the next Mario Kart 's tracks. Previous games in the series like 7 experimented with having some tracks be split into sections and using gliding to reach different shortcuts. The Wonder Flower would be the perfect way to explore both those concepts alot more and also bring in elements of one of the most iconic Mario games on Switch as well. It would be a blast and open up so many cool opportunities using the same kind of philosophy they did that inspired 8's antigravity. It's a perfect fit, especially since the next Mario Kart's gonna be part of Mario's 40th anniversary too. The Wonder Flower in Mario Kart would be a wonderful way to lean into that with references and also freshen up the gameplay in a way that fits Mario Kart naturally.

16 players could work.. if we have a dedicated jump button, and boost button (or a way to pass through players). This would allow us to hop over players. This would also mean, the tracks don't have to be as wide.

I'm so excited about what we could see for the next Mario Kart Game, but as you said, they should do something different for the next Mario Kart Game, like adding more tracks, just like how they did with Booster Course Pass. Having a variety of Mario Characters to choose from, like maybe they could do 20 characters just like how they did with the roster in Double Dash and add two or one non-Mario Character from Nintendo in the mix, like Kirby or someone else. Having new Karts and Tracks and maybe some Retro Tracks. They should add a Double Dash mode to it and have co-op like you driving and another one throwing items at other racers now, that would be cool for what they can do for the next Mario Kart Game for Switch 2 and for Mario's 40th Anniversary.

What I dislike about everyone talking about mario kart , is that they talk about sales without addressing clearly that alot of these numbers come from it being a PACK-IN free game that comes in a bundle that was the best option to buy a switch for years (like nintendo sports)

It could be cool to have 16 racers in Mario Kart, but I feel if they do that, they'll have even less of a reason to give us another F-Zero. Granted, that's still not nearly as many as F-Zero GX, but the more worried side of me wants them to remain as different as possible so that Nintendo has a reason to go back to F-Zero at some point.

Co-op double dash mode is a great shout 🙌🏻 WHAT IF you could fuse/unfuse with a team member during the race. When you fuse you can use double weapons and special power ups. Mario Kart Fusion 🤙🏻

The game is Mario Kart: Double Dash All-Stars! It brings back the double kart mechanic and includes Nintendo all-stars from other franchises and tracks based on those other franchises as well. And for the retro cups, they bring back all tracks from Double Dash in their remade 4K glory.

I think using OoT sounds for intros to every video these days is boring. Maybe you should mix things up, such as using SM64 sounds for videos focused on mainline Mario, Super Mario Kart sounds for Mario Kart-focused videos, Kirby Super Star sound effects for Kirby-focused videos, Generation 1 sounds for Pokémon-focused videos, etc.

I dont get the appeal of that many characters. How can you think that having 50 generic the same - feeling characters is better than 10 fleshed out ones? MK8 on Wii U was great for 200cc mode, fresh gameplay, stages, and music. How is more characters any improvement at this point? The same goes for number of stages, devs can only make so much unique and fun stages, before making crap for the sake of bigger number

I'm probably in the minority here. But I didn't like double dash at all. Didn't like the 2 characters per kart mechanic and didn't like the game overall. I love mario kart though, but that game fell off.

Yeah that game always had a one step forward, one step back feel to it. The Battle Mode was terrible. But the new bomb mode was cool. The special item for characters was also cool. The tracks were good. But Alot of people couldn't get past the 2 person cart. The coolest feature was the 16 player mode. Unfortunately you need an expensive broadband adapter for each console. I had it. It was awesome. Unfortunately hardly anyway got the adapter. Now those things go for a fortune. Still have mine. 😂

Double-Dash mode is a must. Mario Kart hasn't been as good since the high of Double-Dash. And that was 21 years ago. The more modern games look better, and haven't more tracks, but aren't as fun and require less strategy when you can only hold one item and not two. Agree they'll tie it to NSO somehow, with bonus tracks or something. I'd also like to see some kind of simple track builder. Not super-detailed like Mario Marer, but you could take sections from the unlocked tracks and combine them to build your own, like an S curve from one track, U-Turns from another track, and straightaway from a third. Align this on some kind of grid and the game takes care of stitching it together in 3D space. And guess what? Nintendo loves to test ideas in smaller games to use in bigger ones, and we saw a very similar mechanic in the Link's Awakening remake with Dampe's Chamber Dungeon.

Too much focus on tracks, what about story mode like DK Racing? What about mission mode like MKDS? What about a proper ranked mode? Or a proper time trials mode with savestates. MK8 is so barebones when it comes to EVERYTHING other than the tracks. it really does feel like a game that took only a couple years to make.
