Andre when you have opportunity to try again "metka tatarska" I recommend you to put into small bowl, add plenty of salt and pepper, and couple drops of Maggi. You can also add raw egg yolk but it's optional. This is how Polish people eat metka tatarska. Enjoy!

I know your not that nationality combo but bro your vibe is awesome,keep up the top work and your pronunciations of other languages let alone polish is really good.(I grew up to grandparents mainly speaking polish and my mum but I only learnt English) Also.. I would like to point out that the seller may not have been aware, but the Milka brand comes from Switzerland. So do Haribo jellybeans, which, it turns out, are German, although probably not everyone knows this. Poland has many unique sweets, including those of German origin. The history of Wedel sweets is quite interesting - they were originally Polish, then the company was taken over by the American company Kraft, and is now owned by the Japanese company Lotte. Nevertheless, Poles still love these sweets, so you can say that they have their place in Polish culture. If you have a chance, try Wedel's vanilla-flavored Ptasie Mleczko (you'll find them in red packaging). In that store, I also saw Jeżyki and Familijne wafers, which are typical Polish sweets. Poland is ruled by plum in chocolate and sweets that are called - KRÓWKI or krówki ciągutki. And as for the suggestion about visiting Szczecin, someone suggested earlier that you should go there and try Paprykarz Szczecinski and Bossman beer. You can find them in Polish stores in England. Witam. Spróbuj sobie następujące słodycze: 1. Princessa Kokosowa (Princessa Coconaut) - wafelki produkowane kiedyś przez Goplana a teraz ma to Nestle. 2. Wafle Familijne Kakaowe - fantastyczne wafelki produkowane przez firmę Jutrzenka. 3. Torcik Wedlowski - najbardziej znany tort czekoladowy z Polski od marki Wedel. 4. Prince Polo - najbardziej znane na świecie polskie wafelki. Niestety kupiła to firma zagraniczna. 5. Wafel teatralny - firma Kopernik. specyficzny smak. Bardzo twardy.
