I love how Fiona's voice is full of anger, its so raw

i hear frustration and a challenge to whomever she is singing, not simple anger but a desire for someone to change.

SO angry, yes! They also struck me as emotionally in sync and like they were performing for each other as much as they were for the audience. Fiona's timing is impeccable, as well, and her energy at the end was, as always, completely endearing. 💓

Oh my god. Fiona went from the EPITOME of "Hell hath no fury" to being an adorable jumping bean at the end. That is how you switch on for a performance.

Holy f**k, I can't believe this.. I've been listening to Fiona for quite some years now and I adore her. Haven't heard much from her lately and knowing her struggles in the past, it's made me genuinely concerned about her well-being, so I would Google her every now and then to check up on her. That's how I found this live performance now and for it to be with my newest, most adored discovery, Andrew Bird!! IS THIS REAL LIFE?! Had no idea they know each other, this is such a pleasant surprise! ^^ Can't tell you how happy I am to see Fiona looking so healthy and beautiful, and to see these awesome minds perform together! :)

They might know each other through another favorite of mine Blake Mills. He produced this album and worked alot with Fiona in the past. If you didn't knew him, you should check him out!!

After being discharged from a psychiatric hospital, I was in the waiting room with my father and there was a TV in the corner of the room. Ellen was on in the background, and as soon as this was brought up on TV, I had the goofiest smile on my face and just wanted to scream from excitement. I was almost in tears, and I am sure I looked like the stupidest idiot in the waiting room. This was honestly the best surprise after a heck of a lot of shit that was going on. Cheers to Andrew and Fiona - they make an awesome duet!

Andrew is incredible but can we talk about Fiona for a second. Shes in a TV studio, probably some off hour taping, probably 3 or 4 rehearsals before this take and yet the raw emotion and focus of this performance just pour with ease. And that post-performance cuteness...oh.mah.lawd.
