Thanks for posting - that was fantastic! I saw both of you, but not together (Greg, IIRC you were in Jack DeJohnette's Special Edition). Andrew struck me as a super nice guy as well as an amazing musician. He and Herbie Nichols are two of my all-time favorite pianist/composer/bandleaders - always sound great.

That's one of the best alto tones I've ever heard, maybe my favorite I've ever heard. So plush and clean but with the perfect amount of cut. What a clear and stunning voice you have. Reminds me a lot of John Gilmore or Pharaoh Sanders kind of sound taken to alto. Very beautiful, thank you.
