As a man named Sowers, with ten children and soon to be 27 grandchildren, and hard suffering that was endured, I love this song…….

My favourite song at the moment! It is so powerful. Isiah 55:8-11 was already one of my favourite bible verses, but now the entire chapter is my favourite. I almost cry every time I listen to it

aaron bortz, this is Rabbi Brian Samuel. My wife Sue Samuel created this video. We LOVE Andrew Peterson. That's awesome that you used it at the conference! :)

I really appreciated the video. I thought Andrew had made it. I used one of his videos last year too at the conference (The Silence of God). Thanks for the work it was well worth it. I am sorry if I do not remember meeting you. My worship leader attended your class and loved it. Let us get together sometime to talk Peterson. What about "Is He Worthy"? Wow. Where is your congregation? I would also like to learn how to make a quality video like your wife has. Blessings, Aaron

What is the name of the painting at the end of the video depicting the sower? I'd love to find it somewhere, but an image search of "The Sower" does not bring it up.

Curious why “God” and “Lord” aren’t spelled out and are missing a letter..?
@psalmplace6 жыл бұрын
Olga Pea I'm a Messianic Jewish believer in Jesus. In Judaism, God's name is hyphenated when written, so if the paper is discarded, it doesn't desecrate His holy name. This is usually done only with His Hebrew name (the name that's often pronounced Yahweh), and obviously doesn't really pertain to KZbin videos. :) But there is a tradition to abbreviate His name out of respect for it, so that's why I abbreviated. Hope that helps.

Psalm Place I see! Very interesting! Thanks for sharing!

This is Jewish tradition. Not biblical. The word is not completed to avoid taking the name of the Lord in vain. This is a misunderstanding of the commandment. But if you want to do it well, no big deal. Why argue over idol meats?
@teddv5 жыл бұрын
Even the abbreviated name can be taken in vain. Once again human effort shows our need for Jesus.

Is ...BASED... over-used? Sure fits with Andrew Peterson. If it doesn't put you in a state of worship -- you better check your pulse!!!
@jerrybushell65293 жыл бұрын
I find it downright irritating in the lyrics that the censor demands we write G-d and L-rd instead of God and Lord. Why should people who are healthy enough to deal with reality have to cowtow to those who are so sick that they cannot face reality?

LORD! LORD! LORD! JESUS! There was a beautiful video that preceded this cheesy replica... I wonder what happened because that was BEAUTY. This one just isn't right.
