The crescendo of presentation, the beautiful church, and the powerful lyrics/ music serve to completely draw me into praise and thanksgiving, unto our Lord, Lion of Judah. My fingers and hands sign this, with every ounce of my heart. Thank you, bless you, and sharing your gifts truly blesses others🌹 in Jesus, forever…♥️♥️♥️

This is such a beautiful comment. I have been in bed all day long crying. Bawling my eyes out. I have dealt with Major Depressive Disorder for most of my adult life, and after being in remission for several years, it's back. With a vengeance. A vengeance so strong that I KNOW I'm under spiritual attack. I have listened to this song on repeat for most of the day today. The devil is trying his hardest to get me down so low that I am completely CONSUMED with depression. If he can get me down to that point, I won't be able to offer up one word of praise to my LORD JESUS CHRIST. Well, GUESS WHAT, DEVIL???? I'M NOT GOING THERE! PRAISE GOD! Thank You Lord God for delivering me from this pit of hell on earth that I've been burning in today, and for the past 3 months!!!! I praise Your Holy Name!!! I thank You for my salvation! I thank You for my family and my friends. I thank You for each and every thing that You have blessed me with! Thank You God for being who You are! I praise Your Holy Name today and EVERY DAY. I love You, Lord. I feel as if I am being rocked in a rocking chair, while being cradled in the arms of Jesus. I feel such a sense of peace at this very moment in time. I can feel his arms around me. I am at peace now. Thank You Jesus for leaving me with The Holy Spirit, who has dwelled inside of me since the very second I accepted You as my Lord And Savior. The Comfortor has shown up for me in such a beautiful and mighty way since I began typing this reply. I could barely type when I first began. Now, I feel, I LITTERALLY FEEL the presence of God in this room with me. PRAISE YOUR NAME. YOU ARE WORTHY!

Truly a spirit- birthed intervention of LOVE. We are being birthed from the womb of love and that being BORN AGAIN and I’m 68 so you know I am fresh in-joy!! Thank you......

This core wording of this song is taken from Revelation 5:1-14 where John the Revelator saw in a vision the Ancient One (God) seated on the throne with a scroll sealed with seven seals. The scroll is written about the fate of the God's people in the end times. When asked if there is anyone able to open the scroll, no one on earth, in heaven or under the earth is worthy to open it. John wept bitterly. But then he was told that the Lion of Judah, the Root of David (Jesus Christ) will open it with His blood to bring blessing, honor, and glory to all of us. He is WORTHY! My tears came when this verse is sung. Amen halleluyah.

A very good friend told me yesterday about Andrew. Thank you Lord Jesus for this, I have long since become a snob when it comes to Christian music because I feel a lot of it is done just to make a buck. More than just making a buck, i am more concerned about heretical churches making beautiful music. I'm honestly not sure how they do it???
@gregorall9779 Жыл бұрын
@Elaine Light could you please elaborate on this, I'm not quite understanding what you mean?
@NaptownMinstrel Жыл бұрын
@@elainelight9286 @gregorall9779 This may shed some light... As an example, John Rutter is largely known for his compositions of Christmas carols and religious pieces (his "Candlelight Carol" is one of my favorites), but he does not himself identify as Christian or even religious. Read more here: The gifts that God gives us are without repentance (Romans 11:29). They're ours to keep, and He won't take them back even if our misuse of them brings Him no glory whatsoever, or worse yet smears His Name. So, unfortunately, heretical churches can retain and utilize their ability to make beautiful music. The prayer is that they quickly and truly repent, allowing God to deal with their heresy. Hope this makes sense.

I have heard others attempt to do this song, but their arrangements fail, because they're too noisy. This original version, done by the author of this song, gets it just right, where the arrangement enhances the song, rather than detracting from it. Tears fill my eyes each time I hear *this* arrangement.

Well-said. I'm not criticizing the other artists that have sung it, but this in it's simple beauty is so touching. I love the choral response. It's true worship!

Yes. I sometimes feel despair over family members who do not know Jesus of Nazareth. But then I remember that I did not know Him a year ago. And I am an old man. He flung back the curtains and opened my eyes to His Word! Jesus of Nazareth is our only hope! Please pray for Lloyd and Fern. They are 95 and 93, respectively. They are religious, but they do not know our Lord.

This song was played at my father's funeral/celebration of life in September. He was my best friend and the most amazing dad and pastor I could ever ask for. When I hear this song it always reminds me of him. Of his smile and of the things he taught me and of his faith and love for the lord that even in his battle with cancer and watching his earthly body wither away he still had faith and said "I know where I'm going." and "we don't know how much time we have on this earth. Don't waste it" my dad taught me that even in the smallest of things God uses those things to glorify and proclaim his name to the nations. In his fatherhood and kindness towards others someone might of come to Christ from that. I will always remember this song until the day I one day too will be with the lord. Thank you Andrew for this beautiful rendition

I recently got Covid 19 when my son got it at school and brought it home to everyone. I was hit the hardest as I have asthma. It’s day 18 of illness for me now an I have been diagnosed with Covid pneumonia. Jesus and my friends prayers and I at battle this horrible illness. This afternoon I decided to climb the stairs. To build lung and leg strength back. I chose this song. Not long in to the songs chorus he is worthy. I was overwhelmed with God’s love and hope had to sit and just cry with my arms lifted high . I know there is healing in praise and worship. This is one of the best worship songs ever. Lord Jesus thank you for healing me. Thank you Andrew for the song , Mark your Brother In Jesus

11 Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” 13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” 14 And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped. - Rev.5
