But how long are you willing to do that for and are you sure you will actually follow through on it when it isn't an immediate need and your life is already busy? Being rich doesn't make your opinion bad or mean you can't have one. I've literally never worried about money. I've had ups and downs with money, but maintained happiness regardless. I look at his opinion the opposite. You may be sick of a rich guy telling you not to worry about money...who better to tell you? A poor person has no frame of reference. Jerry...maybe he made his money, he found ways to spend it...cars and whatever and at 70 he can look at life from the perspective of being poor andvrich, and he realizes money isn't where happiness lies. He didn't say its not helpful to have it, just that you should focus on doing what makes you happy. Thats not crazy...thats most opinions of anyone later in life who through experiences can properly reflect on what matters. People like Bert and Tom are just materialistic. And they seek clout as much as money.

Jerry Seinfeld making a movie about an unfrosted pop tart sounds pretty on-brand. Nothingburger of a guy. Not that I like Schulz any better.

The tragedy is that the real story behind Kellog's would have made a much better movie. A chair that shakes you so hard you s**t yourself? The movie writes itself.

I think what Jerry said was spot on during the commencement speech. He wasn’t always a billionaire. Who better to give advice then someone that has lived out his dream!? He’s saying validation should come with him not because of other people pat you on the back. It’s nice to hear praise but what’s even better is that you know you did good or that you are happy. I also agree that there’s no comparison from Larry King to Joe Rogan. (Why are we still saying Joe Rogan is a comedian???) Jerry said you just have to have enough money to feed one…yourself is true! If you choose do you have family prior to finding something that makes you happy then that’s on you. Those are the choices you made for the outcome that you have.

One thing that I am noticing, I am in my 50s, is that we did not have a lot to pick from. Because we did not have a lot to pick from the shows that were available seemed much better. Friends, Seinfeld are two examples of shows that were not so amazing but that's what we had.

You've missed the point. It is not about becoming a rich famous podcaster it's about doing something you can be happy doing. Anyone can do that with the right outlook. Excuses like the ones stated are what keep people down and what make them give up. I hope nobody gives up. I hope you quit the job you hate and find the one you love. Life is about doing something you find meaningful and making the most of it. It's not easy either, nobody says it is, but the beauty is in the struggle.
