Agreed. The hyper sexualisation of men's drives and attention has led many to feel that they are dependant on women for that and therefore can't be their true selves. My husband had this type of relationship before me and he struggles to get out of those patterns. A phenomenon which I feel contributes to it. But also as you say the way the govt say you are entitled to... which makes a woman less grateful I think knowing that the state would step in - and the govt are actively trying to legislate people into being dependent on the benefits system and have been for a long time. So women are being told "you are entitled to: rather than gratefully receiving. Definitely dont agree with tate on everything but I like him for the most part. Let this be a lesson to take things with a grain of salt. I don't think treating woman that way he does is alright. Weird, I always say "live for someone other than yourself". This was no more apparent to me than my time in jail where the most miserable, sad, angry, and emotionally unstable people would think of themselves and this showed either in how they treated others (cutting the lunch line, stealing from others etc) or through their stories of why they are in jail and who they blame for their woes.
