I love this guy and his ideals and tried voting for him years ago. It’s a shame nowadays that the political system in the US is so messed up that most people would look at you crazy for being centrist or agreeing with both sides. You either have to be Left or Right- no in between. I think we need more people like him now than ever and i hope he gets elected.

Being in-between to me shows you are sitting on the fence waiting to see which side the coin drops on to take advantage. You don't have the courage of your own convictions, to side with the side that wants to actually alleviate poverty, help the working class, end wars, save humanity from itself and climate change. @joserios2703 Yang is absolutely focused on helping the country. Running again now is not the answer, because the people chose Biden over him, and crooked Adams over him. At this point the majority of people clearly aren't smart enough (because they have become blinded by tribalism and Yang isn't tribal) and/or poor judge of character. The problem is that the media (actually the rich owners) tells the people who they want them to vote for and the masses vote like puppets. The people can't go wrong with brilliant and genuine leaders (which are extremely rare in politics), because they will know the best course to take (due to very high intelligence) and do the right thing, because they are extremely genuine. This means nothing if the people can't see it. Most people get sucked in by seasoned politicians, with their smooth talking BS and telling people what they want to hear. Leaders will only be of the quality of the people who vote them in. You get what the majority votes for. Tribalism blinds people and blind people won't see the great value in a leader like Yang. Tribal people want an us vs them leader and that divisive BS isn't in Yang. He is far too smart to play that losing game.

I don't think the country was ready for him in 2018-19. A lot of his selling points definitely became more relevant later on like stimulus money/unemployment during shutdown, as well as automation & AI. Practically speaking, it's going to be hard to generate noise as an independent when you're confronted by an established two-party system. He's got to pick a side if he wants to enact tangible change from an institutional standpoint. Biden ran for president in 1988 but was forced to withdraw after news surfaced that he plagiarized a speech.
