Larian Studios, the creators of the wildly popular fantasy role-playing video game Baldur’s Gate 3 from this year needs to come a-knockin’! Seriously though…that’s a collaboration that just makes sense. Here, here Andrew, great showing!

Andrew , just let me know when you go back again to this medieval tavern. I'll be coming surreptitiously along . Love seeing you in that setting. The music ain't too shabby either.

Well put. The sound and character of Mr. York's compositions are uniquely recognizable. I've no doubt he will be a legend--I'd say he already is.

Lovely new piece, Andrew, one that guitarists will be playing into the future. The movement of the melody from treble voices to bass and the addition of counterpoint reminds me of chanting in the monastery as the choir shares the melody around the room. Both brilliant and soothing.

Thanks Heng Sure, as always it's wonderful to hear from you. It was a special experience for Annie and I to make this video, and it transported us as well.

If I may, it's not a new composition at all--I think it's at least 20 years old--but this recording of it may be. :)

Played at a slower speed (and a lower register?) to the recording on the Denouement album (1994) and possibly slightly extended too? I will have to listen to my Denouement CD again, someday soon...

@@AndrewYorkguitar If I may add: I continue to be amazed at the unique sounds of your compositions. It's as if you discovered sounds in the guitar that no one else knew were there. I'd love if you wrote a book about how you do it. :)

I'm a martial artist. After a high speed mva and 45% nerve to my left and dominant arm, still playing the best I can. It's about the journey. Bill Standford said something in class. "I may not be an artist but I know art when I see it". I'm not a ballerina but they screw up, everybody knows it. Or when the artists performance is not on par everyone knows it. It's hard to know the untold hours of dedicated practice and study of any artist. When I see and hear Andrew, I see and hear art, my knowledge of guitar almost becomes insignificant. York comes to mind with artists such as Barrios, for. What a blessing
