If you took each gem that Andrew has written and strung them together into a sonic necklace - you would have one of the most valuable pieces of repertoire jewellery of modern times.

"My intent was to compose student level pieces in a more accessible current style, as a refreshing alternative to the large block of 19th century material that inhabits the guitar repertoire." Can't thank you enough for having this mindset. Please keep cranking out accessible and fun music for the vast majority of us that will never post KZbin videos of our performances.

This takes me back to Cambridge 1990, when you played for Chris Kilvington's summer course and gave each of the participants some of your student pieces before you left. Thanks for the memories.

Well played, Andrew! A pleasant piece with excellent cinematography to match 👏. The melody almost reminds me of a theme to a Hallmark movie, ha ha. I bet it sounds great on a steel string acoustic too.

It is always impressive to see how relaxed and with what ease and joy you play the classical guitar. A beautiful piece and a very good sounding instrument, which you don't often find on your KZbin recordings. Is it the Eric Sahlin guitar?

Hello Premek, yes, that is the Sahlin that I played on several early CDs.

Andrew, do you have suggestions for learning/improving music reading for someone like myself who plays at an intermediate/advanced level in rock/blues, etc but doesn’t read well. I read traditional sheet music very slowly. I can read tablature in real time, but I’d like to start learning pieces like yours and others that are in traditional sheet music. I also play PIMA finger style pretty well thanks to learning from the music of rock players like Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson and Rik Emmett who do.
