that guitar sound evil af the kill switch - when you go for low squeals you can machinegun through em ha ha ha - but for real, with the drums that could really accentuate a heavy groove riff with a series of mini syncopated breaks, when the snare goes "cack cack cack" you can chop with it. :-)

$1500 is crazy. I want to love Jackson so bad, but it’s a shame they went to a graph tech nut and SS frets, then in the process skimped on the tuners and the bridge lmao. For $1500, Schecter, LTD or Ibanez will give you loaded guitars that doesn’t need any upgrades.
@balmain2496Ай бұрын
So much this. These should come with Hipshot tuners AND bridge and throw in a decent gig bag at the very least. Not worth the asking price as is imho.
@GoldChains5150Ай бұрын
@@balmain2496 dude that’s spot on! The stuff Jackson does makes absolutely zero sense. Like why even bother buying that when the Ibanez RGIB21 exists for $850.. and that’s with a 28in scale, gotoh locking tuners, EMGs, and a Gibraltar bridge. Granted it does have a plastic nut, but that’s not that big of a concern. I kept the slots lubricated with graphite and it stayed in tune great. And I’m not even trying to make anyone upset about jackson, I’ve had a couple super awesome ones in the past

@nickshultzman6378Ай бұрын
I preordered the Warrior as soon as they dropped and was so excited, but when I got it, I noticed some things that really turned me off. Super light body with severe neck dive, the matte finish was not good quality and already had scratches on it, and power chords on the lower frets sounded thin and not well-defined. That being said, all of the hardware is top notch and including a kill switch is an awesome feature. I was stunned at the price point too and thought it might be a great value, but for me, I could really tell where they cut costs and I just didn't vibe with it. My 25.5" Dave Davidson Warrior feels way better, I just wish they would make a more modern, longer version of that for lower tunings. I see Jackson moving in a good direction though and I'd encourage everyone to see for themselves if they like these. Glad to see some reviews starting to come out!

@@nickshultzman6378 ordered my soloist through guitar Center b4 they even hit shelves and then had it set up afterwards my Luther and it has given me nothing but problems it buzzes on every single fret and I’m even playing drop A# which should be no issue for this guitar. I even put a 72 gauge on the low E and it still buzzes I’m going to probably exchange it for another and just pray that it comes in good shape but I wonder if there’s a way I can get guitar Center to ship it in a case instead of a gig bag Did you have to file down your Fretz or anything like that? Because I honestly the only issue I have with the soloist I bought is this issue I just explained. Everything else about it I dig. So it’s either exchange it and hope for the best and try to get it shipped in a case or opt for jingers frontman’s sig Jackson that’s like 100 more. But then it doesn’t have these pick ups on it. It just has Jackson pickups on it, but it does have a better bridge. I don’t care the green color myself, but at this point, I don’t even give a shit. I just want the guitar to play right I originally bought LTD EC 1000 baritone first and it was in even worse shape than this thing is
@creepsomber14 күн бұрын
That's too bad man. Have you noticed how many guitar channels DON'T touch on the issue of neck dive? How they always review guitars sitting down? I don't know about you but neck dive is a deal breaker for me. I won't buy a guitar just to use in the studio, I've got to be able to perform with it, and if it neck dives I can't perform with it, simple as that. It's 2024, we need a guitar companies to begin engineering neck dive out of their guitars. It absolutely can be done, it's time.

@@bjquebedeaux3597 baritones guitars have usually a longer scale length then normal guitars and are capable to tuning down to some 8 string tunings but you are limited to to how low you can go mostly because of string gauges. 7 strings adds more range whilst, being a little bit easier to tune down because the standard tuning for a 7 string is B standard and if you wanted to play a song in Drop A, You tune the low B to a low A. 7 strings also take a little bit of getting used to and are not really meant for beginners.
