This release's biggest deal for me was proper Midi support. Previously we couldn't control midi devices per scene which made it impossible to use external effects to have a different reverb/delay for sections of the song. I'm so thankful for this update for live use!

As a huge amp person and rather anti amp modelers (as the underground experimental punk/metal scene is usually more in favor of physical experimentation) I'm honestly so impressed with just how good amp modelling has become. Even if its not something I really see myself using, its really impressive. Maybe someday I'll save up for a quad-cortex instead of random cheep used effects and amps. lol

I hope that Neural DSP adds Parallax to the Quad Cortex. It's an unbeatable bass plugin and it deserves to be on there! Edit: Looks like Parallax X will be added in the near future!

a lot of the sound comes from having a good source for tone. Its probably the guitar, try having a homie over with a good guitar and test some stuff out. Unfortunately its prob just the guitar you're using
