I feel like the tracks Mick did felt more organic with how they transitioned. The new stuff still hits, but I find it is a bit too much of a roller coaster of disconnected segmentation. Again, amazing cover as always. They should consider you for the OST of the next Doom game.

It's not a mastered track. It is as you say, segments used dependent on game activity. Micks version sounds like cohesive tracks because they were made that way for the album. An album he wasn't allowed to master himself resulting in him leaving.

@@Synwolf1985 dude that's not the real story. Mick took way too long to mix the tracks for the official ost so Chad Mossholder had to mix the rest but he was given lower quality samples. That is why a lot of the tracks in the official ost have pretty mediocre mixing. Id software fired Mick because he just took too long with the ost, or something along those lines

@@jimit.4220 Well Mick only took long on Doom Enternal soundtrack because Covid happened during development and Bethesda told him to to hurry up as they didn't want to delay the game. Mick said he wasn't any near done and Bethesda just asked him to give them all the samples he created and any unfinshed songs. Mick did so and Besthesda got Chad Mossholder an in studio composer to finish mixing the songs. Mick later told interviwers that he hated the mix Bethesda did and Besthesda found out and Mick was fired from working for Bethesda. Bethesda also said Mick that he can't remix any of the songs as they own the rights to the samples.
