Saw Limp Bizkit this summer randomly since we could get tickets for $20 each flat. They were a band I was into as a kid but not much as an adult so I figured it would be more of a meme, people watching and having a laugh. And while there was definitely a very fair share of that (opener was Corey Feldman, a guy named n8 noface, and Bones/label mates with Riff Raff "emceeing", that should say it all). But Limp put on a killer show, high energy, sounded fantastic, had a great stage presence and report with the crowd, brought two different kids up and let them perform with them making their night. The setlist was fantastic, played all the hits, took requests for some more obscure stuff, and just all around reignited my fandom for them which is wild to say.

I did cover shows for 3 years (just quit this year cause I'm not into it anymore). We pulled out Break Stuff during the 1 hour halfway point, usually as a way to get the energy back. That riff goes hard and that pre-breakdown gets everyone hype...but sometimes when we played harder martial up front, I'd be so over playing that riff about halfway through it lol. It can be pretty taxing.
