Gunter - I know mate, I would love to share my field with more pilots, your not the only one that has asked, however it’s not an option I’m afraid. However if we can find another field in the area I would love to join you. There are a lot of fields further south outside of AWE. There must be some options, have you tried anywhere?

@@Bexxy I have tried local smaller airfields, no luck. Only Chiltern Airsports will allow us but £200/year and we have to be insured. I will try harder to find a field 😁 Might head to Barrys field this weekend, it's not too far away.

Gunter - have you tried looking at silchester playing fields? It’s right on the outside of AWE. There must be a few decent fields that way, just takes time tracking down the owner and getting permission.

Gunter - Your not allowed to fly inside the restricted area, but if your outside it, then you can fly away from it, as long as you can come back and land without entering the area, your not breaking air law. Mind you, it is very close to the edge of AWE, I would probably avoid it.
