What a BRILLIANT thing to say. You people just can't let things be? You think ANDREW doesn't think this but needs YOUR reminders - like rubbing his face in it! STUPID - Totally STUPID! And this was probably filmed several months back
@warrenmichael918
@warrenmichael918 3 жыл бұрын
@@sonnyblazer5504 was filmed very recent because he linked the house for sale. If it was months old, it is sold and link would mean nothing. As for the Levi comment, KDKRacing didnt mean any ill thoughts and im sure Andrew didnt take any from his comment. He posted a video entirely about Levi passing because he was such a big part of videos and the fans really loved and commented about him in every video. We can tell how much he loves his dogs and im sure he is very upset about it in his personal and real everyday life so i dont think any comment on a video would make Andrew spiral out of control thinking about his dog. We all miss Levi and we will see several THOUSAND comments in future videos about missing him and im sure Andrew is more than happy to read them and realize that Levi is and was loved by many!!

Smashed for no reason. You can't really find "better quality" but you can make steel frames out of box tubing to protect them, that's what people I know do. If your at a card lock or truck stop area look around at what other people have done, driver employees likely wouldn't care about lights but owner operators likely will. Condolences on Levi, he was a fine doggie.

There is also a metal screen available that protects the lens itself in addition to steel framing around the entire lamp to protect the housing. Should shift that mud flap a little to the left also so it dosn't smack the side of the light assembly.

My truck's flat bed has the rubber grommets and puck lights. Since its not that new and not that old you need resisters for the led puck lights other wise the lamp out stays on. I like them because you can keep a few spares under the seat and if you back in to somthing or break a light you just pop out the broken and swap in a new one most times by hand and sometimes you need something to help pry.

Dear Andrew. I’m old enough to be your grandma. Everytime I see the physical effort you apply to do something, well I am quite amazed. Nevertheless, I think now is the time to plan ahead for your future. At your age you need to think about what you can physically achieve now in your chosen career as opposed to what you hope for in the future, providing the unpredictable element of good health rides with you, or not. Right now you are a fit young man in the prime of his life and good luck to you, but sadly nature dictates it won’t last. Leaner days are ahead whether we want them or not. Take some time to think about it. What’s your next totally fulfilling adventure. Maybe a nice home, a warm fire and a good woman. UK

Also ... for others like us who don’t read directions ... you have to learn the sound of running out of grease. And if you wait too long to figure it out ... and you enter air in the system ... just unscrew that little screw above the trigger until air is released and grease comes out of the little exhaust vent (hole).

Andrew, this youtube channel and the Stud Pack channel are my go-to's for real get-your-hands-dirty entertainment. I could watch these videos for hours. On that note, have you ever considered making a video where you go back and look at things youve done in the past and show the results? For instance, on 29 July, 2019, you uploaded a video of a new screener you bought and used to make a family a yard ready for grass. It would be awesome to see that yard today. I understand you're super busy and that would be a lot (a ton of work), but it would be great to see the long-term results of your work every 6 months or so. Just a thought... Rock on.

Only dogs getting up there are trained German Shepherds or Belgian Malinois. I own both and they can jump amazing heights. But you have to keep them really healthy. Great Video Andrew, like seeing these finished jobs once complete.

Re: Lights. Yes, plastic is all you can get these days, unless you salvage an antique set off of a junker. However, you could also weld some 1/8" plate around the thing, building a guard. Some sturdy wire mesh over the face too-- (but don't weld that on, obviously). Box it in, and it'll last for years. Especially if the plate is wider than the lamp housing is deep, it'll also protect the wires coming out the back, some... nice truck.

I worked on a trailer for a leading outdoor youth organization and since anyone and his brother has pulled the equipment trailer I found some 6x6" square tubing and cut it the depth of the led light. Welded that on with a strap across the back to attach the led to. They've smacked the tubing pretty hard but haven't bent it nor broken another light. Running markers and fenders are a whole nother story.

I mounted the tail lights on my trailer hanging in short strips of an old mudflap. That way they bend slightly when hit.

It's best to mount the lights to the bottom edge of the dump bed. That way they swing out of the way during a dump. The material being dumped doesn't roll into the lights and damage them. Always use the sealed beam with rubber grommets.

Andrew, you have beautiful videos. I like to look at them and wonder how hardworking you are. I saw you lubricate the cardan. My acquaintance welds gimbals for trucks and construction machinery. It is recommended to lubricate the cardinals with lithium grease (lithium soap). The cardan then lasts twice as long. It doesn't matter what the bearings are, there it is dirt and water that will destroy the bearing. My experience in the center of Europe. I wish you a lot of strength.

I welded square stock where your lights are now. I changed over to the oblong lights that fit in the rubber gasket. I liked them enough to mount them next to the tailgate, recessed in the box frame. I didn’t have those fancy flap holders, they are great.
