I am constantly amazed at your ability to add narrative to videos like this. If someone told me I'd spend 41 minutes watching a dude clean up a pile of wood, I'd say they were nuts. Instead I am absolutely entranced. The big machines are cool and all, but the little touches like showing each load getting dumped add a scope that is really what keeps the video interesting. I have to admit your thinly veiled contempt for the client's mess was pretty amusing as well. I love your videos and I'm so glad I found this awesome channel.

Hi Andrew from the UK. your comment about a landrover. We have diesels mostly over here, my black early 3 door i purchased for next to nothing but it needed lots of welding underneath. That done i owned it for 10 happy years doing everything I wanted to do with It, towing big trailers, broken down vehicles, or being a 7 seater car. It used to tow in broken down vehicles with ease and its old fashioned 2 1/2 liter turbo diesel ran happily on new cooking oil & diesel mix allowed here if you only used 25.000 litres a year (but who checks) sadly I had to sell it at 240.000 miles on the odometer due to my need for an auto box one when find the right one - Diesel rules here Andrew.. OK, I am an old machine shop engineer that used to work for the aircraft Industry so, I love just watching your videos and LEARN something new each time, but at 71 years of age, I`ll not do lots that I`ll learn from you.. Your doing great stuff that keeps me amused so thanks for that.. OK, as Its near that time of year, may I wish you & family a Merry Christmas, and that goes out to your fan base also.. Have fun, keep up the good work.... Ian.B.

We're the (only) ones who didn't see all those extra tree trunks from the first part of the video. I am sure Andrew saw them and took note of them before he estimated or bid the job. In total, there was a crap-ton of wood there. You gotta wonder how not smart it was to dump all that wood in that creek. Talk about creating a problem that's going to be much more expensive to solve (in the future) than dumping or chipping those logs when they were on whatever truck that delivered them and dumped them in that spot in the first place.

That 20 year old Land Rover is a vehicle designed to meet European efficiency expectations and environmental standards. To achieve this an awful lot more technology is required than your typical 1980’s pickup, this technology makes older vehicles like this uneconomic to repair or in some cases too complex for the DIY mechanic. It’s a doddle to make a vehicle that delivers 10mpg belches out pollution and runs for decades, it’s exponentially more difficult to make one that delivers 40+ mpg with low carbon emissions and runs for 15+ years.
@Brandon-ch2ot6 жыл бұрын
Well you do makes sense but Toyota has vehicles in Europe as well and they aren't junk like land rovers lol
@MannPropertyServices6 жыл бұрын
B White it’s all how you treat them , the motor in the Land Rover is a Chevy v8 that wasn’t approved so Land Rover bought it and started using it the only this wrong is the engine and in my case I had mine in 2001 to now and never had a major problem at 200 thousand miles just a gasket or two other wise it’s a great machine
@chrisb40096 жыл бұрын
Land Rover made incredibly robust/reliable vehicles for decades, then this emissions crap came along and they had to push technology to adhere to them. Their quality/reliability dropped around the time of the discovery I. For the past 10 years they have regained their robustness/reliably.
