My two go to, is shrimp sauteed with a little seasame oil, chili pepper and a little salt. I'll throw in spinach or whatever greens. Super fast. One pan. Minimum prep if you get the pre-shelled shrimp. If you have an airfryer, ill put chicken breast sliced in half so it cooks faster, tossed in crispy shake and bake. Like "healthy " chicken nuggets

This was the video I needed to see today. Thank you. I just started OTF after gaining close to 40lbs after my gym closed in 2020...and I have felt just like hopeless about my life as of late. As a people person I despise working from home all day. I have lost all motivation to see anyone...ever. I have constant chronic pain, every time I restart a workout regimen or try to eat healthier I last about a week and I Binge eat my progress away. I've been VERY nervous about OTF but I'm so glad I joined because I can see how impactful this can be to my life....and now that I've got a few workouts under my belt I realize that I can't actually eat the way I've been eating and get through these classes. I have adhd and honestly need to make things as simple as possible, and I have been having a very similar approach to you around eating. Smoothies, oatmeal, or eggs in the morning and then go from there. I'm still ordering out like constantly but have switched the kinds of foods that im ordering out...my next step is to get myself to the grocery store enough so that I don't resort to ordering out, but anyhow.....hope you have a good day and wish me luck in finding my purpose again!

I feel ALIVE when I eat fresh Whole Foods. So why, oh, why am I drawn to that fast food-which doesn’t help me in any way , shape, or form? Super simple is working for me too.

"you don't have to know it all at the beginning" yes yes yes! Sounds like someone is kicking perfectionism to the curb and is rocking a growth mindset! This video was a joy to watch, to see you thriving and actually enjoying nourishing yourself. Yay simple whole foods! And yay ALWAYS learning and growing. I think this video will help and inspire others ❤️

Making a much-needed revisit to this video today. I'm getting excited to embark on a new phase in my health journey: wanting to eat healthier and stick to a Peloton program. However, with excitement, I find myself Googling everything and I'm quickly getting overwhelmed by the amount of information out there and the contradicting opinions. It feels so refreshing to come back to this video and hear from someone who is keeping it simple and seeing results. We need more content like this online and any video you make like this is much-appreciated.

LOVE this. i'm such a perfectionist, I tell myself I have to do everything a certain way or else I'll fail so I just never start, because it's so daunting. I love your journey of just one super simple recipe at a time. so much easier to manage. You inspired me to throw overnight oats together while I watched. can't wait to have them tomorrow.

I like putting dehydrated strawberries in my water. Like Starbucks refreshers without all the sugar… I’m going to get one of those today tho too, don’t get me wrong! Now I want to make salmon for dinner.

Love this! My easiest recipe is a grain bowl. Cook whatever grains I have on hand in a batch and keep in the fridge. Then just add whatever veggies, beans, and protein I have leftovers of. Today is farro, chickpeas, avocado, tomato, and chicken. It’s a bowl of leftovers that looks way fancier than it is!

So proud of you, friend! This is so much growth and progress. You are doing what is truly sustainable for you. Plus, when you eat well most of the time, the super fun, not as healthy foods become more fun and true treats. You truly can enjoy all foods in a healthy lifestyle. You’re doing so good!

One of my faves is a taco sweet potato. It takes a little prep ahead, but super easy to throw together when the time comes. Sweet potato, black beans, pickled red onion, tahini, and hot sauce. Sometimes Ill add some avocado if I have it. Its so good and hits the mexican food cravings when I have them lol

Great video! Do you use regular or quick oats for your overnight oats? I have a similar recipe : 2/3 c almond milk, 1/2 c oats, 1/2 c frozen raspberries, scoop of protein powder and 2 tbsp chia seeds. Makes one serving.

Congratulations Andrew your change in mindset is amazing and you must feel great! I gave you a little razzing as #FADTuesday after watching lots of your old videos - so it's amazing to see how far you've come! I had similar struggles with poor food selection and nutritional choices, but went through a very similar transformation over the past 12-24 months. Finding simple easy things you love to eat that are nutritional and keep you satisfied are the key! Also setting yourself up each day/week for workout success was something really helpful to me as well. Keep up the great work!!! Going for Dri-Tri PR on Sunday. 🙂

The best advice to eating healthy: focus on what you can add and not what you can take away. It’s amazing how much that naturally changes your mindset about food.

This is great! Intuitive eating at its best :) Another quick, simple thing to add in like your chia seeds are hemp hearts. I throw them in everything. Add a spoonful to your smoothie, oats, granola... Lots of nutritional benefits.

Glad you were able to finally find something to stick to. For me, I am almost 90-95% red meat and seafood anymore. I have no desire for any carbohydrates, starches, sugars or fibrous foods. Thankfully fruits and vegetables are not necessary to thrive. The other thing is satiety. Most people can't reach that because they are constantly snacking. Those that hit satiety love that feeling. Keep up the great work. Remember, it's about fat loss, not weight loss. Build muscle too. Hit those heavier weight on the floor. Try to bump up the weights by 2-5lbs every 2 months.
