If you have a Tesla or an electric car you don't have to pay toll, you go for free. You have free or cheap charging. You can go in the bus lane where that is. You can go for free on many ferries.

That's for sure mate ...!! Have you ever had a freeze up mid flight ..?? I did once and I thought I'd lost it cause the battery warning began and I couldn't see it, went looking to see if I could find where it may have come down ... couldn't find it so slowly walked back to the car which was the take off point and there it was sitting on the road next to the car ...!!! Thank you DJI return to home feature.

Yeah Ive had at least 6 "oh no" moments and 3 crashes. Actually the next video should be some interesting drone footage for you! haha I think that day was the record for most times the drone was likely gone forever! The DJI return to home feature is awesome and I've really relied on it more and more lately. Because lets face it, putting the drone in certain situations... if it was to go bad... at least it can find its own way back. The only time i wont use return to home is if im in a setting where I need to "thread the needle" to get him up and away for a scene. Usually that happens in forests.

I am very glad that you got your drone back in the air because that photograph of the bridge was incredible. Drones really do give you a unique perspective on the world. One of my favourite drone shots i have taken was looking straight down onto a river, which is actually in a video on my youtube channel.

I know it sounds weird, but its like having my wings back as if i was a plane or helicopter pilot haha! Its always fun going out with the drone but when Im around that much water... it gets a bit scary. I have a few favourite shots through the drone too, but most are from Iceland because we didnt have the charger for the best places in Norway! What a shame hey. What video has the drone shot in it?

@@AndrewDawes A great spot that you can fly is Long Jetty near the entrance, we haven't gone there yet but are planning to go with the drones.

Gday Colin! Thanks mate! I particularly liked the pull away shot from the bridge (level)... Ronald can be a naughty boy though. On the trip we personified win as a new and slightly naughty puppy that you would rouse on when they misbehave 😂 I hope that’s how it feels. I like a very candid adventure series so it’s good that’s it’s coming though 😁 if you’re into the drone stuff you might enjoy my Iceland drone video if you haven’t already seen it. I’m planning on cutting another version too when I settle into this year properly 😅

Im thinking of re cutting the iceland video because that footage is maybe only a third of what was available to use! So plenty more where that came from :) Do you have signal issues with your mavic air? Thanks for watching mate :D

They have lots of Teslas because they are a progressive, forward thinking country not run by self absorbed idiots paid off by big coal. /rantover Love the drone footage and I'll have to get you to teach me how to do those transitions, love them. :)
